Campground is falling into disrepair. Sites are narrow and some issues with uphill and broken sewer drains. Sites are not level. Although it was adequate for our needs.

Nice quiet RV park for a one night stay on our way to Canada. Made the reservation and paid on line - no one at the office. Will stay there again if our travels worked out that way.

Very convenient to Alexandria. Small, clean and quiet. Would stay again.

This campground is very basic and meets the general needs of camping. The firepits are not located in a great location as they are in between each campsite and there is not enough room between campers to have a fire. Easy place to stay if you are on your way through.

We were in spot 35 and the pad for our lawn chairs was very uneven and there was a large dirt hill in the back. The fire pit really needed to be cleaned out. There was never anyone in the office and when we went to checkout there was one small dumpster that was completely overflowing. Definitely will not be staying here again

An efficient, clean park. That was good Internet. Best we’ve had in a while. We really enjoyed the park: nice to be close to town, good spacing, good water, a good tree for shade, few bugs ! Has laundry available. Rune stone Museum and the surrounding lakes are wonderful. Linda

Well done, we stayed last Fall and returned this summer. The grass common area in center is nice.

The sites were very nice. We have a 40' Class A and our site was plenty big. Very quiet place. Emily very nice to deal with. Would recommend to others. 👍

The camp itself was nice. We had a full-service site, and the park manager moved us to a site where we would have wifi from our trailer. The water was non-potable, but we had our own drinking water, so that wasn't a problem. We had laundry facilities, though the change machine was broken. Although there was no one on site, the person who answered the phone when we called with questions was knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. The reason I've dropped a couple stars is two fold: 1. There isn't a bath house. Fortunately we had sewer on our site, and so were able to shower in the trailer. If we wouldn't have had a shower in the trailer, there wouldn't have been any shower for us. 2. The camp was incredibly noisy. Not the camp itself, but it was located on the outside of an industrial part of Alexandria. The motor noise started as early as 4:30 am, with motorcycles revving their engines, the beep-beep of large vehicles backing up, etc. There was no place to go for a walk around the camp either, except right through the industrial area, and there weren't sidewalks. Otherwise, it was a nice little campground!

Easy back in level gravel lots with FHU. Quiet and close to everything Alexandra has to offer. Stayed nine days and I would stay again.

Disappointing. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a toilet, much less a bath house. We arrived late at night, and our site was already taken by someone else. The signage is nonexistent and there’s no office or staff. We had seen photos of a little playground for the kids, but we didn’t see one there.

Nice RV Park - easy access and appeared to be well maintained. We just had a single overnight while passing through the area, but the staff was accommodating and we were able to switch spots with ease... I would consider it more of a 'business' RV park - good for those who are traveling for work rather than 'camping' with family. There are not a lot of amenities like other destination-type parks (pool, playground, etc). But, a good spot to pull off I-94 for the night and hit the road the next day like we did.

Not a good experience at all. No public bathrooms, no drinkable water. Advertised a community room, did not exist. Nobody in the office. And on a lighter note, we had a tree growing out of our fire ring. Left after first night

Disappointed. Website stated there was a community room and other out buildings which didn’t exist. Also stated there was free WiFi but we were never able to connect. Owners not on site. However the other campers were very friendly.

We will NEVER stay there again. The grass was NOT mowed when we got there. Then he started mowing and blew everything against our rv. Also the branches were hanging so low they scratched the roof our rv. My husband had to buy a saw to cut the branches as they said they didn't have anything to cut them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Stayed here only because some friends were staying here. It's mainly a grassy field with very few trees, but sites are reasonably spaced for privacy. However, no showers, no wi-fi, and the laundry room was not in good shape - we went a few miles away to a real laundromat. There is a lot of road noise, and the airport flight path is directly overhead, so there is a lot of aircraft noise during the day - thankfully not as much at night. The management office is not staffed, and there is a note on the window to text or call to check in. However, I texted both individuals listed upon our arrival and heard nothing back. I then tried calling the first individual listed and got a busy signal. I called the second individual listed and finally got through, but he wasn't very professional, and he told me to take any unoccupied space. If that's the case, why didn't it just say so in the reservation confirmation?

The campground was nicely kept, could use some weeding in the gravel pads, but not one single problem came up during our visit. Sites were spacious enough to easily navigate around and back into and the location was incredibly convenient for getting into and out of town in our trip.

Campground Response

Thank you for the review! We hope you come back and visit again! We will certainly address the weeds on the pads and we have plans for more great things!

We only stayed 2 nights. The new owner Emily was very nice. The campground is close to fishing, and shopping. Nice roomy lots, hookups handy, clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for the kind review as we are getting used to running things! I hope you come back next summer to see the improvements we make!
