This is our family reunion place forever we hope! It is a place where you have so much fun, music festivals, karaoke, history, a fabulous amphitheater with so many histories..all the country western stars have started their careers there back in the 1940,s and have their names on the theater. It’s so fun looking at the hundreds of stars names.. Dolly Parton, Elvis, Johnny Cash and everyone who is anyone!!! The staff is the best and sure the place is dated but that’s the great experience of it!! The Hamilton,s give it a thumbs up for sure !! Thank you Ron (new owner) and all the staff there, you fo a great job to make it a very friendly experience. I recommend it to all and it’s getting updated but I hope they don’t lose to much of the history of it. Good luck Buck Lake Ranch 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We rented the red cabin. The description for the cabin listed water and sewage but the cabin had no water or bathroom. I asked for a refund and the owner promptly gave it to me. However I did not get my refund for the Roverpass service.

This place need significant investment into its infrastructure. The power didn’t work and they didn’t know how to fix it, we had to break out our tools and repair the breaker, the water smelled like sewage and was rusty the sites were to small for modern RV’s and the telephone wire hung to low for a fifthwheel and I had to crawl on top and pull the wire over my antenna and ac units. Drunk inconsiderate permanent campers abound and the “Lake” is nothing more than a large pond that is full of algae, cat tails & Lilly pads. The sewer connection is a shared connection at each site, so they use a wye that stands 1 foot out of the ground, meaning that you have to rig up some hillbilly means of getting fall to the sewer. The online registration place says they have full hookup and 50 amp sites but they don’t. They only have 30 and it goes on and on

We will definitely be back! This is a great campground. The owners were so nice and helpful!! In fact, everyone in the campground was nice and friendly! It's got a nice, smaller lake and is set up.like a cute western town. We loved it! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

I happened upon this campground several years ago and instantly knew it was what our family was looking for. I was a grandmother by then and wanted my grandkids to experience the same wholesome fun my kids had enjoyed growing up. We have been seasonals there now going on 7 years! My kids stay most weekends and consider the staff and other campers like family. I'm so happy my children's children can appreciate the simple things like walking or riding their bikes around the secluded traffic free park., hunt for frogs and turtles, , swim in the lake and end the day around a campfire. They have no interest in video games or watching tv. There so always something happening there. Music, dances, holiday parties, potlucks and games on the beach! You owe it to yourselves to check it out one time...I'm sure you will return🤗 Claudia Setty and family

I came here last month while visiting with some family members, and I had such a great time. It's a clean campground right by the water, and the trees around the sites are gorgeous. We stayed in a cabin, and it was really nice; the bed was a bit thin, so if you like more support, bring an extra spread. We did a ton of fishing, and after the first day, we realized that fishing in the early morning isn't just better for the catch, but makes it such a great experience. We saw the sunrise while on the lake three days in a row and it was amazing. We caught a ton of bass, crappie, blue gill, perch, catfish and we even saw a ton of turtles. This is by far one of our favorite spots. Will return!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your great feedback, Davina. We appreciate it!
