There's also a number of excellent nearby attractions such as Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Miller Spring Park, Dana Peak Park and the Miller Spring Nature Center. At the family-owned and operated Cosmic Duck RV Park, we're proud to offer a quiet, clean, and secluded spot for long term stays, travelers, and modern day nomads to relax and call home. Our park provides friendly country livin’ with big city access. We are conveniently located away from traffic noise off State Highway 77 in Milam County—near the junction with State Highway 79 and just a few miles north of the small town of Rockdale, TX. We are “in the heart of the Texas Triangle” between San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas with easy access to Interstate 10, Interstate 35, and Interstate 45. This means a central location less than one hour’s drive from our closer metro neighbors Waco, Austin, and College Station, TX. Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the Park in the morning and at night. Two cranes, one white, and one gray, visit the pond regularly. Make Cosmic Duck RV Park your new home. We are not fancy and don’t have some of the amenities that the big parks have, but if you want to enjoy your time here, you will. If you want a place to stay where you can view the Texas stars that shine so bright, this is the place!  From here it is only 8.8 miles and 13 minutes to the Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco; 7.3 miles and 8 minutes to McLane Stadium; and 7.9 miles and 10 minutes from Baylor University campus. The beautiful sunset you see is at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir, less than 4 miles away. Our guests enjoy a large, beautiful covered Pavilion for individual relaxation or socializing with family and friends. The Pavilion is the perfect place for dinner or just forgetting the cares of the day. Our on-site laundry is available to our guests 24/7. Our standard rates are: $37 daily; $230 weekly (7 nights); and $400 plus electricity (and refundable electricity deposit) The daily and weekly rates include electricity. Sandy Creek Park Campground is a small, 25-acre park located less than 30 miles from downtown Austin, Texas. It features 78 full hookup campsites that are pull through big rig friendly. The park offers free WiFi and allows pets.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include a clubhouse, picnic/BBQ area, playground, and beautiful, on-site, hiking trails. It also includes all your basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities.
