Abrams Creek is more like a nature preserve than a commercial campground. On our campground, there are no generators, loud electronics, or other things that would distract from appreciating the sights and sounds of this pristine natural environment. Campsites and cabins are well spaced out, so that there is never a feeling of crowding. The campground has 20 acres of hemlock forest bordered by a wild whitewater stream. Some areas are boulders, pools, and turbulent water—great to watch or play in. One large area towards the end of the campground is a calm wading area good for children (with careful supervision of course), and just past that is a deeper section, 5’-7’ deep, that is good for swimming.  

The Grange Fair is a city within a town, as campers “move into” Grange Park in Centre Hall, PA to live for more than a week. If you feel like cooling off rents some tubes for a lazy float down the creek or for the more adventurous grab some kayaks and start your trek in the PA Grand Canyon ending right at the campground.

The location is amazing as it’s a right by a peaceful creek with a very lush landscape and beautiful natural environment. It’s also close by a main road that will take you on a short journey to great places to visit. Neatly tucked into a hemlock grove, you will have convenient access for on-property fishing and hiking. This site is also 15 minutes from Deep Creek Lake, western Maryland's premier 4 season resort area. This campsite is setup for winter camping, including heat for the primary tent.
