Camp Tonkawa Springs RV Park is located just outside the beautiful town of Garrison Texas. Amenities at the park include: 30/50 amp sites, FHU - electric, water, sewerage  Big rig access, Pull Thru sites. Our tent sites have electrical outlets, and water. Pavilion and 2 Recreation Rooms that may be rented for your purposes. Ice, Sodas and Firewood at the office, for sale. (in case you forgot yours).  Bathhouse & Laundry  Natural Springs  Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00pm. There is always someone on call after office hours.  There's also plenty of space on the 50 Plus acres for hiking, biking, and exploring.  We also have a variety of wildlife, including peacocks, Sitka & Fallow Deer, and guineas that roam freely throughout the park. The area falls into a beautiful darkness at dusk, making it the perfect place for sunset viewing and stargazing. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Of course, the area is filled with great, local eateries and shops. Nacogdoches Texas (the oldest town in Texas) is just 15 miles away. It offers just about any and everything you could want. It is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Campers can look forward to the Cold Springs itself. Which is a perfect spot for swimming in the HOT East-Texas summers, or a roaring fire in the winter with family and friends. Wanting someplace a bit warmer in the winter? Lake Striker Resort

Lake Striker Resort is located on Lake Striker in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas just off HWY 79 between Henderson and Jacksonville and less than an hours drive from Tyler, Nacogdoches, Rusk, Palestine, and Longview. Visitors can expect great activities on the lake and in a quiet, friendly atmosphere. On-site amenities include a great restaurant, convenience store, bait shop, boat launch, covered/lighted fishing pier, laundromat, and picnic/swimming area.  RV spots include 50 amp, water, and sewage hookups. Motel rooms come with satellite TV, full bath, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Cabins come with satellite TV, full bath, refrigerator, coffee pot and small kitchen. Tent campsites include electricity. Access to the fishing pier, swimming area, and boat launch is complimentary with the rental of a motel and cabin. We also have outdoor concerts on most Saturday nights in the summer and fall. Past performers have been The Charlie Daniels Band, John Conlee, The Bellamy Brothers,  Whiskey Meyers, Kevin Fowler, Colt Ford, The LACs and Moley Hatchet. Its from 6 till 830 pm at the Lake Striker Resort Restaurant. You can bring your own instrument and join in or have a great meal and listen to some good music. Texas State Railroad Campground

Nestled in the Piney Woods near Rusk, the campground offers the exclusive experience of staying onsite at a historic railroad. Camper have access to depot amenities which include dining, gift shop and movie theater.    Campsites with water only, water and electricity or full hook-ups with 50-amp service and sewer. The grounds offer picnic tables, grills, fire rings, laundry facility and Wi-Fi.  There are separate restrooms and showers onsite, a water playground, nature trains and a campground office complete with sundries, firewood and ice for purchase.   The 15-acre Cherokee Lake is where fishermen will find a variety of fish including crappie, catfish, striped bass, sauger, walleye, smallmouth bass, bluegill and largemouth bass here. Whether they are casting, spinning, or fly-fishing chances of getting a bite are good.
