The Heartland RV Park is located in the picturesque Texas town of Huntsville and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Conveniently located between Riverside, TX. and Trinity, TX. on State Hwy 19. The campground offers 37 full hook-up RV sites with both 30 and 50-amp electric service at every site. There are 2 brand new waterfront rental cabins with all the modern amenities and comforts of home. There are also 10 primitive tent camping sites, half of which are conveniently located on a peninsula between the river and our 2-acre private pond with the remaining positioned along the river adjacent to an adjacent oxbow. General Sam's Offroad Park is located just nine miles north of historic Huntsville, Texas. They are offering over 60 miles of trails winding through 706 acres of rolling piney woods, natural springs, creeks, sandpits, mud holes, and more! It's the perfect destination for your ATV/UTVs, and any other four-wheeled off-road vehicle. Admission fees include a day pass for $20 (per person) and a weekly pass for $40 (per person). Stay in one of their five cabins, or choose from a variety of RV spots including, 19 different primitive campground areas for RV and tent camping. Our free Wi-Fi Internet access covers the entire campground! For the folks who don't own an RV, we offer a variety of other accommodations that can be rented by the day, week or month. Our 2-bedroom (550 sq ft) waterfront cabins are centrally heated and air-conditioned and sleep four persons. A rollaway bed can be provided for an additional person.
