Parks Pond Campground is a mostly seasonal camper campground located on 14 acres of beautiful Parks Pond in the small town of Clifton, Maine.  Mike and Selina Lufkin and all the wonderful families want you to "come play in our neighborhood" soon.  Summer 2021 will be our 17th summer on the Pond with several "Theme Weekends" planned.  Our season opens May 14, 2021 and closes October 11, 2021 just in time for some leaf peeping.  Our campground features partial water and electric hookup sites along with tent sites for those seeking more traditional camping. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, canoeing and swimming outdoors. A beautiful island campground, thickly forested with spruce, fir, and birch, was created over 60 years ago, on Sunshine Island in Maine.Under the name, Sunshine Campground, it hosted people from all over the world and delivered the spirit and essence of this ancient, abundantland - that so many ancestors had roamed and celebrated before. As far as through the 90’s, it was open to the public, but then sat, alone, for 15 years, waiting for someone to revive it and bring it back to the world.
