This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for wildlife like deer, elk and curious moose, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!

The Lake Como Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and is a single loop through a thick grouping of fir and pine trees. It's one of the campsites in the lake Como Recreation Area and a clean, quiet spot for distraction-free camping. Visitors can look forward to hiking and exploring the wooded area, picnicking and stargazing at night. There's plenty of fresh air, so make sure to bring your bike for some excellent mountain biking.
