The Murray Bay Campground is located 22 miles south of Martin City and is an idyllic, gorgeous spot for your next quiet escape into Montana. Look forward to fishing trout at the bay, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating and water skiing, as well as waterside picnics and star gazing. Get ready for beautiful views of mountain ranges in the distance and tall, majestic trees filling the land. At an elevation of over 3,700 feet, visitors can look forward to great weather and scenic views of the Flathead National Forest. Along with the spectacular scenery, the immediate area offers visitors an unlimited array of outdoor activities ranging from fishing and swimming at the nearby Swan Lake, to watching the migratory waterfowl at the wildlife area. Hunting is also popular not far from the lookout. Shooting within 150 yards of the lookout or from the road is not allowed. A variety of hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the area.
