Located in Plainfield, Vermont, Onion River Campground has unique site layouts that are not precisely defined but rather more like one big lawn to create a more social atmosphere than a conventional campground. For a more remote site and if a camper does not need electric and water hookups, you can find private hookups in the apple orchard, next to the plum tree  or in the high meadow. There is so much beautiful nature here as well as the amenities you need. There is a great river access for fishing, swimming, tubing, and wading. Spacious Skies French Pond Campground is a family-friendly campground located in beautiful southern New Hampshire, 5 miles north of Pats Peak. We offer both wooded and open sites that can accommodate any size trailer. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, water, 20/30 or 50-amp electrical service, and sewer. Groups and tent campers are welcome. French Pond campground is nestled deep in the forest, right on French Pond. Beach access offers swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, and fishing.
