The Black Canyon Campground is located in the Gila National Forest and is a great place to enjoy a peaceful yet engaging southwestern adventure. Lose yourself among the challenging but beautiful mountain trails, and be sure to take in those spectacular New Mexico sunrises and sunsets, and go fishing or boating at the campsite ponds. Campers tent to gravitate toward mountain biking and horseback riding, but there's also plenty to do in Silver City. Enjoy great attractions like the Gila Cliff Dwellings Monument, Spirit of the Mountain Scenic Byway and the plethora of museums and art galleries near the historic old town. Located in the Lincoln National Forest is the Slide Group Campground which can accommodate up to 90 people. Surrounded by mixed evergreen and aspen, this site is known for immersing visitors in a primitive wildlife environment where they can pause and appreciate nature. Access to the National Recreation Rim Trail can be found at the site, and there are plenty of amenities to ensure that groups can enjoy social events and plan group activities with ease. Besides hiking and picnicking, most campers stop by the village of Cloudcroft for supplies, shopping and fine, local dining. Don't miss out on that!

Located in the Lincoln National Forest New Mexico is the Black Bear Group Campground, a popular site for annual groups of up to 70 people. With plenty of open, grassy spots for sports, and lots of wildlife in the surrounding forest, this campground is a popular one for group activities like star-gazing on the park's many clear nights. Located near Alamogordo and Cloudcroft, it's also well-known for groups wanting to explore those two urban centers and the great culture and dining to be experienced there. It's also a quarter mile from the Rim Trail, which is popular for mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Other nearby trails are open to ATV enthusiasts.

The Stallion Campground is located at Caballo Lake State Park, a beautiful New Mexico oasis. This spot is popular for its excellent nature trails for hiking and bird watching, climbing and horseback riding.

Located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico are the Bluff Springs Dispersed Campsites. It is a partially developed picnic area with dispersed campsites with spectacular mountain views, and beautiful forestry all around. Take one of the trails around clumps of wildflowers, and be sure to catch at least one sunset or sunrise; have a camera handy! There's also a few small waterfalls within the park so keep your eyes open for that! Most visitors to this site go off to the Cloudcroft village to take advantage of the local sights and do some gift or food shopping. Maybe you'll be in time for one of the three annual festivals that take place in Zenith Park in the village.

The Skyline Campground is located south of the famous Monjeau Lookout Tower along Forest Road. Visitors enjoy exquisite scenery, and breathtaking mountain views. With access to the White Mountain Wilderness via the Crest Trailhead. Campers can enjoy a range of activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking, hunting, and of course snowboarding and skiing during the winter months.

The Pancho Villa park is home to numerous historical exhibits from the battle that happened at this small town in 1916. History buffs and New Mexico enthusiasts alike flock to this site to see the museum which is free for campers, and to experience the remnants of this crucial part of the Mexican- American war. The park is also only a few miles from the southern border, so if you cross, be sure to visit the Pink Store. If you like the iconic desert terrain of New Mexico, you'll especially love this park, and the sights of those beautifully red sunrises and sunsets the area is known for.

The Sapillo Group Campground is located in the Gila National Forest and is a beautiful place to retreat into nature, and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Look forward to plenty of fresh air and acres upon acres of untouched land to explore. Campers especially love hiking and biking the trails, but you also have the option to go to the downtown Silver City area to experience the local attractions there. Get ready for a look into the history and culture of New Mexico with sits like the Ancient Indian Ruins, Spirit of the Mountains Scenic Byway and Gila Cliff Dwellings Monument. There's also tons of art galleries, live shows and great, local eateries to enjoy. 

The Lost Canyon Campground is located in the Elephant Butte Lake State Park is one of the most central to the lake of all the campgrounds in the area. Campers here can enjoy a plethora of great activities such as water skiing, fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing and paddle boarding, as well as enjoy local attractions in the city. Nearby is a visitor center (on Broadway) with tons of helpful guides so you can get the most out of your stay. There's also a museum for visitors to peruse and a ghost town nearby. Also be sure to look up at night to see the spectacular light show iconic of the southwest. 

The Percha Flats Campground is located in the Caballo Lake State Park, and is nestled in an idyllic New Mexico setting popular among nature enthusiasts and photographers. Enjoy excellent conditions for swimming, kite boarding, wind surfing, climbing, canoeing and kayaking. Boating, fishing and hiking are also popular, as is wildlife viewing. Locals love this area for being quiet, and providing a lot of space and fresh air to enjoy nature without interruptions.
