This is a very beautiful mountain rural area, many of our neighbors have livestock, and we have a few potbelly pigs. Base Camp at Golden Gate Canyon sits at an elevation of nearly 10,000 feet in beautiful Black Hawk, Colorado. It's within an hour of the Denver Metro area and features 31 full hookups campsites. The park is big-rig accessible and pet friendly, except in the main office. Luxury resort amenities offered include a well-stocked convenience and liquor store and onsite movie rentals. Circle the Wagons RV Park has 43 full-hook up sites. We have 14 50-amp and 29 30-amp sites and tent area. Sites are all 60'x30' and gravel. We have laundry and shower/bathroom facilities. There is free Wi-Fi and a dog park. Cable is not available in our area. The Cuchara River runs through our park which also has many shade trees.
