Lil' Abner’s RV Park is located in Sierra County in Southern New Mexico.  With easy on and off I-25 Interstate.  If traveling north take exit 59, if traveling South take exit 63 to I-187 state road.  We have a beautiful views of the Caballo Mountains and night skygazing. A perfect place to stop and get recharged for the next of driving or stay awhile. with convenience of a General Store onsite with a full line of fishing tackle & live bait with Camping, RV and boating needs. Caballo Lake entrance is mile and half south of the RV Park where guests can enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing & kayaking. With a large boat ramp to quickly get out on the water. Lil' Abner’s RV Park has quick access to the local Hot Springs; Museum’s; Ghost Towns and Geronimo Trail; White Sands; Shattuck Vineyards and Winery; T or C Brewery. Also Trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, ATV & Off Road. The Caballo Mountains are full of beautiful rocks for those gem & rock hounds. Along with Gold Panning. And an abundance of birds for those birders. Each site has full hookups with metered 20/30 and 50 Amps;  water and sewer hookups. Level sites with 6 back in spaces 45L x 30W and 8 pull throughs 75 L x 21W.  Drydocks available. Electric is paid separately and at time of check out. During COVIED-19  no picnic tables will be on site.  Please plan accordingly.  Masks are required to be worn when entering store. Arrival time must be at least 15 minutes prior to Dusk so that you have time to set up and connect.  No exceptions after that time period.   A great place to stay at any time of the year. The Turner RV Park is located in Mountainair, and is conveniently located near a number of excellent attractions. Look forward to a one hour drive from Albuquerque, where you can find a number of great activities, shops and restaurants. Most people visit for the International Balloon Festival, as well as sight seeing the beautiful terrain of the city. The park is also close to the fourth of July mountains and the Salinas Pueblos Missions National Monument. The Salinas Pueblo Monuments are some close sights to go see in New Mexico. There are 3 different ruins to see, one is 8 miles away, another 11 miles away, and the third is 25 miles away. There is an awesome array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs and camping styles that include full 30/50 amp hookups along with family suites and kitchenettes available that come equip with a coffeemaker, DirecTV, refrigerator, and microwave. There are a various amount of amenities that would elate anyone who stays here which include BBQ and patio areas, laundry facilities, restroom and shower facilities, trash services and a dump station. The Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort is located in Sierra County, New Mexico and is famous for its acres and acres of untouched natural terrain and spectacular sights. Filled with biodiversity, the area is an oasis of culture, fauna and flora, and is just a mile from the Elephant Butte Lake State Park.
