Most nights, mule deer stroll out of the brush at dusk and graze across the street from the park. While watching the mule deer, plan a trip back during hunting season. In April, stay for a couple of nights during the Cottle/King County rodeo which is held annually the third weekend of April. Highlights include rodeos on Friday and Saturday nights with a dance after the rodeo and a parade and BBQ on Saturday. Republic Starr RV Park is centrally located between two amazing state parks.
