Alongside the river, you will notice our spring-fed pond where many of our junior campers enjoy fishing. The river frontage at Camp Cold Springs is perfect for all ages with easy access walking down to the river. We have a large, generally flat, shallow area that is great for little ones to roam around or guests that enjoy lounging in the refreshing Frio waters. The rock island is enjoyed by our more adventurous guests that like to take an aerial approach into the river, while on the southern part of our river, guests enjoy the 2-4 foot deep swimming areas of the river.
