This is a top notch facility. The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly and anxious to help in any way. Our site #17 was shady and just beautiful.

Morgan Shady RV Park has to be one of the best parks we have stayed in quite some time. Even though the Temp was over 100 each day, the shade from the trees made it nice and the water is so close to be able to jump in and cool off. They Kayaking was Awesome, even though it is a river, it was easy to go up or down stream. Staff was very very helpful and friendly. They really go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Would highly recommend Morgan Shady to anyone just wanting to get away. Will definitely be visiting again soon and often.

We had a great time at Morgan Shady Park. We have camped there for years. The improvements have made it better without changing what made it a great place to stay! Gravel has been added to park campers, and the staff is very active in monitoring the areas, keeping litter picked up and available to campers!

Beautiful park. We had a family reunion here and stayed about 4 days. The sites are well spaced, has easily accessed electric and sewage, and there is ample water pressure. The river was great and close by to the sites. The park owners were extremely busy with helping keep sites clean, adding things, repairing, and were extremely friendly. I was worried about my family, as they frequent more exclusive RV resorts, and they came away with continuous praise and compliments. This is a great and beautiful park. In my opinion, this is the best park on either of the rivers in Junction!

A calm, quiet spot on the Llano river. Great place to enjoy the water and kayak .All slots have at least 1/2 day of shade. Large clean restrooms.

Found this place from a friend of ours that had gone. Wonderful place. My husband and I are usually not the get in the water type but the swimming area was amazing. No grass around our feet. They had clean bathrooms and showers, the only down fall was there is no air-conditioning in there and it was very hot in there. The owners was AMAZING, and they sell ice there so you don't have to go into town for ice. We will definitely go back.

Perfect location on the river. A great spot to swim, sit on the bank and fish, kayak, or whatever you wanna do on the river. Excellent place to use as a home base to explore the area. Beautiful pecan trees surround the park and shade most of the sites. The park was clean and seems to be well kept with staff picking up every morning. It is a quiet place with very little road noise. Its just a beautiful place. A few critiques and advice: There is a short steep hill coming into the park. If you have a weight distribution hitch, make sure to unhook it before going down the hill. It can bend the frame of your camper or break your hitch. My fifth wheel hit the bed of my truck going down and coming up the hill. This is the only place such a thing has happened. This is an easy fix if the park owns a tractor. The RV sites need attention and updating. The sites are perpendicular to the road and straight across from each other. If you have a large camper and the park is full, backing into and pulling out of your spot will be a challenge. The sites are a little longer than the state park sites though. Cell Service is good at the park with 4g speeds of 60Mbps. There is wifi internet in the park, but not strong enough to stream inside the camper consistently, so bring a hotspot if you want to do more than check your email. I have recommended Morgan Shady RV Park to several people. I hope this review helps.

We completely lucked out finding this place on our trip home from vacation. We only stayed for 1 night but we absolutely LOVED this campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setting was GORGEOUS. My boys (12 & 15 and 52 hubby 🤣) enjoyed feeding the goats. The campground was clean and easy to get to. There were deer everywhere. The river was in our back yard and it was beautiful!!!! We will be going back to stay for more than one night.

I absolutely love this place. The lake, the trees, the deer, the squirrels, and just the overall peacefulness grabs my heart. The owners are wonderful and very friendly. I use to come here all the time many years ago, then life happened and I missed about 10 years. I’ve been back twice now in a year and I fell in love with it all over again. Even when the park is full as it was this weekend, it’s peaceful! That says something right there! I will definitely be back as often as possible!
