It's a pretty area. Folks were very nice. Have had a lot of rain lately, so ground was pretty soft. Mostly grass area. Large trees, but were able to maneuver our 40ft 5th wheel around them well.

Very nice campground, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the location by the river is beautiful and the campground was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again going through the area!

Nice little park but a bit pricey. Spots aren’t paved and probably get messy when it rains. It was dry when we were there so not so bad for us, however you can tell some people have gotten stuck. There were ruts in the mud from tires.

Honestly, we booked Morgan Shady Park on a whim, as a space filler. Sometimes you have “Happy accidents”. This was one of those This is an AWESOME park. Right on the river and access to South Llano River SP, this is a gem! We already have plans to return here. The staff (especially Georgia) were friendly and helpful. The town of Junction is awesome! Bottom line; book this campground!!

We had a great time here. Views were great. Staff was extra friendly and very attentive. Sites were clean and big enough for our big trailer. Will definately stay here again. Thanks

The park was beautiful and well kept with perfect river access for splashing, swimming, and kayaking. The managers were friendly and accommodating. They even upgraded us to a nicer spot when another guest cancelled, and they let my kids feed the goats at the front of the property. The other guests were quiet and respectful, and the whole vibe was relaxed. I would go there again in a snap!

Great place to stay. On our way to Arizona on our motorcycles we camped out right by the river. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

When we arrived at the RV park we were greeted with a warm welcome from the lady in the office. She took us to our site. The park is nice, quiet, clean and close to the river. Showers and restrooms are a walk away. The park was completely full but the people working were always exceptionally nice and helpful. The park provided some services you can’t get anywhere else (trash pick up, community wood pile for everyone’s use and visible people). They stay in touch with everyone in the park to make sure your stay is wonderful. When we book another river trip we will definitely stay there again.

Extremely pleasant stay! One could not ask for a better place to enjoy our weekend. The park is very clean, and staff are absolutely wonderful. We had a group of three couples in campers, and everyone was talking about future returns to your camp. Thank you!

Quietest place we’ve ever stayed at. No amenities. Weak wifi. Sites are decent size, gravel and grass. We got there immediately following a massive rain, very muddy.

Beautiful little RV park and as the name states it has lots of shade...tons of pretty trees. The Llano River is literally right there next to you, so peaceful! The staff was very nice at check-in....we were over-nighters so not too much interaction with staff which is how we like it. The only drawback was the walking areas and spaces between the RVs was very muddy, it had obviously just rained. Some rock on the ground would make this park perfect!

Quick overnight stayed, but very impressed with the customer service and my experience at this location. Especially when I woke up to a lake view and took a walk. Clean facility, peaceful and love the goats :-)
