This primitive camping spot is perfect for fishing along the Kootenai River, enjoy boating, canoeing and kayaking, and then come on land for challenging hiking and mountain biking paths. There's also plenty of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, moose and elk, as well as those night time skies for the iconic Montana stargazing locals enjoy. 

The Black Sandy State Park is located in Helena, Montana and is one of the area's most popular camping spots. Get ready for a wide variety of outdoor activities, so plan for a long vacation. Visitors can look forward to picnicking at the parks that line the Hauser Reservoir, or go fishing at any of the numerous bodies of water at the state park. Boating, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking are also popular, and be sure to come by during the winter time for ice fishing and other winter time activities. The rustic cabin is conveniently located along Dry Wolf Creek as well as several other creeks and rivers; so if you love water activities, you'll certainly want to stay at this cabin. Whitefish and trout fishing is common, as well as canoeing and white water rafting. Wanting to explore the forestry? Hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are popular at the dry Wolf Cabin, as is snow shoeing, sledding and skiing during the winter months. If you can do it outdoors, you can do it at this campsite. 

The Hay Canyon Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, Montana. There are several gorgeous hiking trails as well as fishing access. Campers can look forward to catching thick, healthy trout and a calm waterside near the canyon. Look forward to plenty of peace and quiet, as well as clear skies for stargazing, and breathtaking red skies at sunrise and sunset. 

The Dry Pole Canyon Campground is located in Hobson, and is perfect for a quiet, humble getaway into the beautiful mountains of Montana. Campers can look forward to challenging hikes up tall peaks, and gorgeous views of the canyons and valleys at lower altitudes. Mountain biking and picnicking are very popular, but be sure to pause at dawn or dusk to see the spectacular sky show!

Judith Cabin is a two-story lodge located in Hobson, just a stone-s throw from the Middle Fork of Judith River. Campers can look forward to winter activities such as snow shoeing and skiing, and other activities common in the Montana mountains. Get ready for gorgeous views while you hike, bike and explore the forests, and enjoy the boundless quietude of the cabin.

The Daisy Dean Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest and is a great place for outdoor fun! If you're an equestrian, look forward to great paths for your horses, as well as excellent hiking trails that take up high for great panoramic views. Picnicking is another favorite, so get ready for quiet fields and tables for mid-day fun and outdoor group sports. with so much wide open spaces and beautiful pine and fir trees, you'll want to extend your stay!

Located right off exit 392 on I-90, the Old West RV Park is a convenient stop wherever your travels may take you. All of our spaces feature full  30/50 amp, water and sewer hookups along with Wifi, and Cable TV. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a laundry room, bathroom and showers.  Right across the street there is a small convenience store with Gas and Diesel along with a post office next door to catch up with friends and family. Take a walk down the main street and see the original store fronts and homes from the early west. Just a few blocks down is the rustic Waterhole Saloon with good eats and friendly folks.
