Wildlife and scenic viewing is also common at this park, so keep your eyes open and your camera handy to soak in the views of the gorgeous mountainside as well as the curious elk, deer and moose that roam the wilderness.

The Big Therriault Lake Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a gorgeous blend of light blue lake water, clear skies and thick, lush forests all around the lake. Popular for fishing, a wide variety of trout can be caught at the lake, and campers can also look forward to hiking.
