The Wagon Train RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Canton and is a great place for an authentic Texas vacation. Visitors can look forward to a number of excellent nearby attractions such as First Monday Trade Days where visitors and locals alike can enjoy shopping for local crafts and goods, the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial, Twin Lakes Golf Course, Yesterland Farm and The Mountain for gift shopping. There's also ziplining and other aerial adventures to be enjoyed near the campground, as well as great local eateries and antique and artisan shops. Travelers can also expect natural wildlife tours and the Texas Roads Winery and Roadhouse. Toledo Bend Museum is also an excellent stop for nature-lovers, and is known for its fishing, swimming, hiking, golfing, canoeing and kayaking. There's also a number of spots nearby for day trips, so many visitors drive out to places like Gladewater, Marshall and lake Palestine for even more fun. Amenities at the park include: tent camping, pull thrus, big rig access, restrooms, showers, water, sewerage, WIFI and 30/50 amp sites. Hope to see you soon!

There are many choices of RV parks in this area but this is probably the nicest one I’ve seen. Trees, grass, full washer/dryer set up, lots of sitting areas just to relax. Owners are so nice and helpful and live on site which is great!

My husband and I have had the pleasure to stay at this park 2 times. Nice, well maintained, quiet and easy to get to from interstate. Very clean and a wonderful dog park for those traveling with pets. The owners are absolutely some of the nicest people we have ever met. We had issues with our tow vehicle and they went over and beyond to help us with it. We have a 40 foot motor home and their sites are equipped to handle big rigs. Don’t hesitate to use their campground as you will not be disappointed!!

While we only stayed here for a week, we would have stayed a lot longer it is a very nice campground. Pet friendly (adding a small dog park) and the owners are really nice people. Right next to the highway but you can’t really notice much noise at night. I know next time I come down I will be staying here!

About 7M east of Canton on the frontage road is a small 15 site RV park. PA but not during Canton Days (1st of month). Super nice owners and nice gravel pull thru sites with fair wifi. Nice grassy area to walk a dog. There is road noise from interstate but we carry noise machine so not an issues. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
