BEEN MEMBER SINCE 2011 THEN THEY SOLD AND IT WENT OPEN TO PUBLIC. PLACE HAS WENT WAY DOWNHILL AND THE RUDEST STAFF YOU COULD EVER FIND

1.0
Please read ALL the reviews about the RUDE office staff! They are exactly that! We made reservations 2 months in advance, requesting 2 RV spots next to each other. The confirmation emails confirmed adjacent spots even giving us the specific numbers of 15 and 16. 3 weeks before our trip, we called and verified that all was in order with our reservation, including the neighboring sites. When we arrived at noon on the day of check in, the staff gave us spots 5 and 16 stating that someone in 15 had decided to extend their stay and they had to move one of us. After discussing that this is not what we were expecting, and getting no cooperation in finding 2 sites together, we decided to give it a try anyway. Pulling into the RV area we noticed that there were MANY vacant spots still available. We called the office to see if they would allow us to use spot 4 or 6 next to our friends, we were rudely denied and told they could not give us someones else's reserved spot (even though that is exactly what they had done to us). After several conversations we gave up and set up camp in our given locations. The next morning, we were stopped by someone in the campground and told the office needed to see us right away. Thinking they were going to go ahead and let us move sites to one of the STILL EMPTY spots next to our friends, we headed to the office. Once there, the office staff preceded to tell us that we could not camp in their campground because we have a cab over (Capri) camper and they don't allow those. The "lady" continued to explain that once they had a "400 lb man" show up in a homemade truck camper with only one window and a door that she didn't even know how he could fit through and she had to turn him away because of how it looked. REALLY?!! UNBELIEVABLE! Then she graciously said that we could stay THIS time, and move next to our friends, but would not be able to come back. WOW! You wouldn't be able to pay me enough to return and I'm sorry to say I gave you kind of people any of my money in the first place. Please, please, please find somewhere else to stay! 1 star only because it's required in order to post your review.

I think this is a park everyone needs to visit as it was one of the best parks we have been to in a long time. The layout of the place was really spectacular, I liked how everything was placed it was easy to get around and find where you needed to go. The staff was really kind and helpful. The wifi was decent, but we weren’t there for wifi. The facilities were nice and clean and I love how everything was maintained. There were a plethora of sites to choose from depending on what kind of camping trip you are after. All in all this was a great visit for my family at a really great price!
