Beautiful location. Currently must cross canal using a quaint classical nautical swing bridge. There is currently construction underway for a new bridge to replace the swing bridge. Tim, one of the owners said it should be completed within a month. The location is wonderful with exceptional beach views. The added bonus is the owners are laid back, easy going and friendly. All large pads angled for backing in. 50/30/20Amp service. Water pressure is good on connection. Sewer hook ups. Wi-Fi was one of the best I've ever had at a park. The site is amazingly clean! Cell service is low but available most of the time. Laundry facilities were sparkling clean and reasonable priced with good quality machines. Loved driving along the beach, watching and listening to the waves. While walking and looking for shells, was pleasantly surprised with finding Agates as well. My only issue was the weather was overcast and rainy for a majority of the time. Causing fog to limit the beautiful views. Somehow even that seemed mystical on and off during the day. Like your staying on a tropical fairy island, away from the hectic crazy world but with a short drive you can be in a bigger town if you decided want a night out. The town of Sargent is quaint and classically laid back. In all our years of rv travels, Tim and Ruth with Sargent Beach RV Park ranks with our very favorite. It's not the biggest or offers the most attractions or facilities, however, everything they offer is beyond excellent. We are and will continue to be repeat guests.

We had a wonderful stay at this park. It's small and laid out well. The wi-fi service was outstanding. I had to work 3 days of our 7 day stay and had no connection troubles and no problem streaming meetings. And who wouldn't want to work with a beach view?!?! Sunrises and sunsets were picture perfect. You could walk on the beach for miles or just sit and watch the world go by. We really didn't want to leave and are already talking about when we'll be back.

Campground Response

We are so glad you enjoyed our place. We thrive on people like you and will be looking forward to see you again, soon.

Ira Allen

Very nice facility. We had a great time, close walk to the beach or fishing from the inter coastal water way. Great views of the tug boats coming through. We stayed in spot number six and was perfect! Thanks to the owners for having a clean and beautiful place.

The park is right next to the new cross over bridge being built to replace the older lift bridge. Upon arrival we were unsure how our stay would go do to the construction until we saw the amazing view!! We had a completely unobstructed ocean view in front of us! With only the small frontage road between you, the sound of waves & breeze of the sea. This little camp is a hidden gem!! The backside of the camp is just as nice with up close views of the huge barges & boats as they quietly pass by. Canal fishing was convenient, nicely maintained clean camp and friendly helpful owner. We were only annoyed a few times by the construction noise but didn’t let it stop us from enjoying our stay here. Sargent is a great little fishing community but not much else to do. If fishing & total relaxation isn’t your thing, Lake Jackson or Baycity is only minutes away.

Campground Response

We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and really appreciate your comments. Hope to see you soon (after new bridge completion).

William cunningham

Best overall RV experience we have ever enjoyed. Clean quiet small park. Tim and Ruth, the owners, made us feel like long time friends not just customers. Been to bigger and more features resorts, however, none more comfortable and relaxing. Will return

Campground Response

Thanks William for your nice comments! We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Hurry. up and come back!

Dolores Nangle

Wonderful RV park!! It really has everything you could want; clean, well cared for sites, peaceful, unobstructed gulf views , intercoastal waterway boat traffic, birding, sunrises, sunsets, and feeling like you're on your own small plot of oceanfront property. Owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Would actually give it 10 stars. Will be back many times in the future.

Campground Response

Thank you Dolores for your nice review and recommendations! So happy you are coming back to stay with us again! We are thrilled to know you enjoyed our little “gem of the Gulf”. Hurry up and visit soon..

Stacia Fosi

We had a great time at this campground with friends. The sites are well laid out and new- the electric and water supply nicely positioned. The host was kind and friendly, even flew his kite to entertain our kids. We enjoyed fishing and walking the beach. The recent storms have washed out the beach badly but it will be rebuilt in the future. We will be back.

Campground Response

People like you is what makes the greatness of our business. We enjoyed having your family and friends over for a good time on our facility, which is designed to please and enjoy Nature comfortably. Hurry up and come back!!
