Overview
9 Acres on the Pigeon River small quiet private campground. You have river in front of you and farm behind. We're about a half hour to anything you want to see or do in the area. Waynesville and Canton are 10 minutes away. Family owned and operated. Spaces by reservation. PLEASE call ahead as there is no office. Go to our facebook page for photos and info. All size rigs welcome.
Riverhouse Acres Campground includes amenities such as WiFi, water, sewer, electricity, fire pit. This big rig and pet friendly campground is located on 4744 Pisgah Drive in Canton, NC. Historic Sightseeing, biking, canoeing, hiking, and kayaking are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay here.

Squatters Rights :)
We do not make you move if you decide to extend your stay, but yes you do have to continue paying for your stay.
Reservations/Check in
We ask that you call ahead. We do not have an office and we work around the corner so we need to know when you are coming so we can make sure someone is there to get you parked correctly and in the right site.
Cancellation Policy
We've been real lucky with our clients. We do not ask for deposits other than during holiday weeks. What we do ask for is the courtesy of a phone call to let us know that your plans have changed whether it's to cancel, come earlier or later. Just let us know what happening.
Site Ownership
You are responsible for your family and friends. If they break something or do damage you are responsible for the repairs we have to make. Please just let us know what happened so it can be repaired, be fair to others.
Car Rule
Only your car is aloud in the campground and only 1 car per site. Any other cars must remain outside the gate in the parking lot. Gate must be closed after entering and/or leaving.
Pet Rule
Pets MUST be on a leash and you MUST clean up after them. If we have to clean up after them you'll be asked to leave as it's not fair to others.

You can't beat the sightseeing. We're minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you're a history buff our local community club has created award winning cd's and DVD of local historic sites so that you can take a tour driving your own car. Our area is also big on antiques. We're located within 30 minutes from anything you want to do.
