Campground host was awesome and very accommodating! We live staying at this campground for our annual hunting trip!

We camped Sunday October 2 in Site 9. Our favorite. Maybe our fourth or fifth time camping at Clausen Springs over a few years. My husband and I were the only campers that night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The trees were in full fall color. We noted that the picnic tables had been recently stained. The bathrooms were very clean. The roads were newly resurfaced. We highly recommend Clausen Springs and plan on returning often. Well kept campground. Thank you Barnes County!

Annette & Kirschenheiter

What a beautiful campground--clean, peaceful, quiet, spacious, great opportunities for hiking and fishing. Barnes County does a superb job managing the site.

Overall our experience was outstanding. My only downside were the bathrooms where the ladies room needed some attention. Members of my family joined us for a couple nights and they thought the park was really nice, well kept and they will be booking for next year. Scott does a fantastic job of keeping the parks neat and well maintained (by himself!!!) he’s also the friendliest park manager I know!!! Well done!

Once again we had a great stay at Clausen Springs. Beautiful area to camp! The only downfall we came across during our stay this time is there wasn't a camp host to purchase wood from, and the bathrooms needed a little attention. Please note, this was not the case when we've stayed there previously. We would highly recommend Clausen Springs!!

Well maintained campground despite the problems they have faced with flooding. Campground host was not present, and it was unclear how to get more firewood. Appreciated having WiFi available at our campsite!

Campground Response

Phylis sorry we missed you during the week. Camp host is only in the park fri-sun as listed on our website. During future stays please call the campground or stop a park worker during the week 8-4 are our weekday hrs. for more firewood.

The campground is beautiful. Well maintained and the beauty of nature at its finest! New sand in the beach area is a plus. if it rains, campsites can get a little muddy but still an awesome campground!

Great park! Would be nice if water spigots were labeled as potable or not.
