Located just 25 miles from downtown Houston and 20 miles from the Medical Center, it is a hidden little honey hole. Most campers are convinced they are lost on the way here because you come through a beautiful neighborhood of mansions and multimillion dollar homes.  The park is in a secluded area where the park owners chose to keep the peace and tranquility of the natural area. This is not your typical park location.  It is built in the middle of some of the most expensive properties in the suburb of Houston called Sugar Land.

Once you are on the wooded property, you would believe you are miles away from civilization. However, our park’s neighborhood has two Starbucks, a “Signature Kroger” grocery store, multiple local restaurants, major bank branches, spas, Target, Walmart...

Again, this is not like the other RV parks in the area built with lots of concrete, no trees next to a highway.  We enjoy the secluded outdoors and the amenities of the higher end neighborhood.

Waste Restrictions

Our fish pond is very sensitive to the waste we put on the ground. All of the water runs to the pond. Therefore, please dump grey water outside of our park, put trash in sealed receptacles/dumpsters, and wash cars and campers outside of the park.

Vehicle Restrictions

Please keep vehicles in the area you are assigned. Vehicles outside of those areas are charged for the spaces they occupy.

Fire Restrictions

Fires and Bar-B-Q's are to be enjoyed in proper pits and in designated locations only.

Fireworks Notice

Fireworks are prohibited.

Laundry Restrictions

We provide washing machines and dryers. Absolutely no clotheslines.

Pet Restrictions

Pets must be well-behaved, on a leash, cleaned up after, and remain indoors overnight. No aggressive breeds.

Sewer Hook-ups

Sewer lines must be attached with the proper plastic sewer elbow or rubber donut. After cleaning your sewer hoses, please store them properly. Many thanks!!!

INDEMNIFICATION

Campers and/or customer indemnifies and holds harmless Brazos Bend RV (DbA Brazos River Retreat RV), their employees, contractors, agents and/or owners for any adverse encounter, injury, harm or like that they, and/or their guests, agents, invitees, contractors or like have and/or experience related to the campground, property or surrounding properties. Brazos Bend RV (dba Brazos River Retreat RV), their employees, contractors, agents and/or owners are not responsible for damage to vehicles and/or personal property due to falling limbs, trees, river flooding, theft, and/or vandalism.

Fishing Restrictions

Fishing is permitted, however catch-and-release only in the pond. The pond is stocked with good-sized bass and catfish. We are also right on the Brazos River which is known for BIG FISH — huge catfish (30 lbs+ and Alligator Garfish 50+ are in the river).

Safety First!

A major attraction for campers at our park is the natural environment of the campground which is located adjacent to the Brazos River. The campground’s environment and river each have dangers and nuisances that can be problematic to campers. Horses, Wild animals (deer, wild hogs, snakes, insects, spiders, ants, etc.), adverse vegetation (poison ivy, poison oak, loose branches, falling trees, etc.) and a natural pond do exist on and/or occasionally cross through the property. The Brazos River is fast moving and the banks of the river are slick and can also give way without warning. Fire pits and barbecues are located on the property. Any and all of the above could cause serious harm or even death. Further, there are both risks and uncertainties not limited to the above that exist on the property that could cause harm and/or adverse effects to Campers, and/or their guests, agents, invitees, contractors.

We had a really great time, loved the country feel of the park. Management was very friendly and helpful, kid friendly with lots of activities for them. We will definitely go back and would recommend it for others.

Great campground in the heart of Sugar Land/Fort Bend county. We had a pull through site nestled in the trees and loved it. If you’re looking for a big concrete pad and city living, this park is not for you. If you want a real country camping atmosphere and great park management, check it out. There were even families camping there who live a few miles away. It’s like having your own little country retreat. Thank you Pam & Charles for making it great!

Would definitely recommend staying here! Pam and Charles are very welcoming and accommodating. The park is quiet and not a barren concrete slab. Enjoyed many nights sitting out in front of our RV relaxing.

We had a great time at the Brazos River Retreat! We were looking for a campground close to work and home so we could have that "camping" feeling after getting off work in the evening. It was a quiet, cute and secluded place, yet it was not far from local restaurants and grocery stores. I really enjoyed being able to spend my evenings fishing in the pond and taking the dogs for a walk. Many people in the campground are long term and so friendly! Pam the owner was very attentive and friendly. I am looking forward to returning in the future when I need a break from the "real world."

Quiet and peaceful with trees and nature, yet close to stores if needed. Owners are really great and accessible if you need anything. The general pavilion area is very nice and they have fun events for the campers. The place has such a nice, family feel. Big dog park with shade trees for the four leggers-my dogs loved it. It is a new place so they are continuing to work on the amenities. I give it 5 stars! We will be back!

Would have given a 5 but there are no bathrooms or showers. Very serene and the owners are very nice.

Wonderful community oriented RV retreat! Pam and Charles are great hosts and will help you with everything you need. There are a lot of fun group events you can attend and the residents are so nice. I think the best part was how quiet it was there. Even in a busy Houston suburb, you could sleep to sounds of nature.

Quiet and shade, we moved to this park from a concrete one just for the shade and the quiet. No laundry or bathhouse or it would be 5 stars.

Nice quite park that is close to Houston but has the feel of a small town. Nice people and campers. Lots of trees and right on the Brazos River. I parked there for 2 nights while doing business in the area. Gravel pads and road. I will come back.

The site owner was very welcoming and had great hospitality! Easy booking and check-in. We were only in for one night and had no complaints. There was a side of the park that had beautiful grass and large trees. And free DVD check-outs were great for the kiddos!

Beautiful and tranquil tree-filled park in the middle of everything you need! This RV park is unique in location as it is in the midst of million dollars homes yet feels secluded and remote. Proximity to freeway, shopping, medical care and outdoor activities makes this park a true gem!

Loved this location!! So close to the city but yet so quite and peaceful. We had space 12 and it was perfect for the kids to play at the pavilion. No WiFi but that’s ok for a short visit. The grounds were clean and maintained. Met the owners and they were very accommodating!! Will go back again very soon!

The campground is small but the owners make it the best. They went out of their way to make sure all campers are happy. They also welcomed us with little gifts. The campground was very quiet and relaxing.
