About Fairhope

Daphne and Fairhope RV parks and campgrounds are spread around the outskirts of town, mostly to the south and east of Fairhope, in the rural areas and small communities around Foley, Bon Secour, and of course Gulf Shores.

Many folks who choose to set up camp in the Daphne and Fairhope area do so because of this location’s relatively easy access to neighboring destinations and attractions. Mobile and Gulf Shores are the most popular, but those in the know will head out to the Styx River just off of I-10, or hit the coast east of Gulf State Park, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo to the quaint town of Orange Beach. Gulf Shores camping is a rite of passage for many area families who look forward to hitching up and hitting the beach in the summertime. This holds true for the areas west of Daphne as well. Motor your way past Mobile to lesser-known spots like Theodore and Bellingrath.

Around the Daphne and Fairhope area, check out the Foley Railroad Museum, Holmes Medical Museum, Fairhope Museum, or the American Sport Art Museum and Archives. If you’re looking to get outdoors but prefer to stay close to town, head over to Daphne Bayfront Park, Village Point Park Preserve, May Day Park, Weeks Bay, or the Fairhope Municipal Pier.
