Taking Exit 328 on I35 and a quick hop 1.7 miles East of the interstate on Greig Drive, we are the perfect mid-way point for travelers between Dallas and Austin as well as Snow Birds or Winter Texans as we like to call y'all! We are are a little slice of Texas Heaven with all the amenities of the city just a couple miles away. This must-see tourist attraction is located less than 10 miles from our park along with many other fabulous gems our community has to offer. Oakdale Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has been providing recreational opportunities for families since 1925.  We offer cabins, RV & tent sites, meeting rooms, a playground, picnic sites, recreational equipment, an outdoor stage, paved lanes for the kids and their bikes, a very large, 330,000 gallon swimming pool, a coin laundry, and campground store all for your family's benefit and enjoyment.  Beginning with a CASI Chili Cook Off and IBCA BBQ Cookoff, from February through December there's almost always something happening.  Since 1972, Oakdale has been home to a Spring and and Fall Bluegrass Jamboree (1st Saturday in April and 1st Saturday in October, respectively); since 1982, it has been home to the Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival (Mother's Day weekend); and, since 1987, it has been home to a Fall Woodcarving Show and Rally.  For several years the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association has been hosting 3rd Saturday jam sessions and free stage shows at Oakdale as well.  Many families have been coming here for their reunions for decades.  And, many RV clubs regularly hold rallies here.  As you can see, during our first 100 years, many traditions have sprung up and taken hold.  We're located across the street from the Paluxy River, where you'll find the City of Glen Rose's free Big Rocks Park and River Walk. Next to the Big Rocks is a small dam, a miniature golf course, and a snow cone shack.  Combine those "backyard" attractions with Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, the Creation Evidence Museum, The Promise, Barnard's Mill Museum, historic downtown Glen Rose, Squaw Creek Golf Course, and canoeing and tubing at the nearby Brazos River crossing, and there's plenty to keep our guests, both young and old, entertained.Whether it be a weekend retreat, family reunion, RV rally, or special event, make plans to stay at Oakdale Park and start your own tradition!

Riverside Outpost RV Community is a quiet and wooded setting. Approximately 1/2 mile from downtown Riverside, the Community is conveniently located near restaurants, washeteria, gas stations, and the Trinity River.    

Mill Creek Ranch Resort & Cottages is located in Canton, Texas on 200 acres of peaceful Texas woodlands, 60 miles from Dallas. The town is known for its gorgeous and well-preserved natural environment, so campers can look forward to pristine forestry and clean surroundings. Visitors can also enjoy nearby activities such as basketball, volleyball, hiking, and scenic drives. Visitors can also look forward to a number of excellent nearby attractions such as First Monday Trade Days where visitors and locals alike can enjoy shopping for local crafts and goods, the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial, Twin Lakes Golf Course, Yesterland Farm and The Mountain for gift shopping. There's also ziplining and other aerial adventures to be enjoyed near the campground, as well as great local eateries and antique and artisan shops. Travelers can also expect natural wildlife tours and the Texas Roads Winery and Roadhouse. Toledo Bend Museum is also an excellent stop for nature-lovers, and is known for its fishing, swimming, hiking, golfing, canoeing and kayaking. There's also a number of spots nearby for day trips, so many visitors drive out to places like Gladewater, Marshall and lake Palestine for even more fun. 

The Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Terrell, Texas and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing southern escape. Campers can look forward to acres of gorgeous greenery, as well as opportunities for swimming, fishing, nature walks, biking, sunset viewing and stargazing. Travelers can also expect great onside games like basketball, horseshoes and tennis.
