The Double E RV Park is located in the beautiful and historic Texas town of Gonzales, Texas and is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of local attractions such as the Old Jail Museum, Palmetto State Park, Gonzales Memorial Museum, the Texas Heroes Square, as well as almost a half dozen other historic sites and a few excellent antique stores. There's also the Gonzales Livestock Show and Rodeo, Shiner Half Moon Holidays, Cuero Turkeyfest, Spoetzl Brewery, home of Shiner Beers and the Luling Watermelon Thump. Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the Park in the morning and at night. A recently renovated RV park in Fredericksburg, Texas, The Vineyards at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort) features lots of brand new amenities! There are stores ten to twenty minutes away but dining and shopping is a distance.  - Pets allowed on leash only (no loose dogs to visit your neighbors please)  - No refunds will be given for early departure or due to acts by Mother Nature  - Volleyballs and corn hole bags can be checked out at the Office with an Valid ID, then returned to the Office or Camp Check In Staff. You are welcome to bring your own but please limit play time to two hours if others are waiting to use the area  - No fireworks; No firearms unless it is following State Laws for Open Carry.
