The Mission Tejas Campground is located in the beautiful town of Grapeland, Texas and is the perfect place for an authentic southern vacation. Hiking and nature trails provide access to the natural beauty of the East Texas Pineywoods. The dogwoods are beautiful the last week or so of March, usually around the 25th. Just beyond the campground, travelers can look forward to a number of local attractions, such as the Mission Tejas State Park, Grapeland Safari and Salmon Lake for excellent fishing, boating, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. Many also visit for the annual Blue Grass Music Festival, Peanut Festival and a long list of excellent restaurants and small eateries.
