Located in the beautiful and tranquil town of Beckwourth is the gorgeous Frenchman Campground. The site is home to hundreds of high alpine lakes and thousands of miles of clear-running streams. Pine trees provide moderate to good shade in most sites and at a 5,800-foot elevation, a variety of wildlife make their home in the area.   Activities and amenities: The visibly stunning view isn’t the only thing that the campground has to offer, there are many activities and amenities too, such as: multiple single-family campsites for tent and RV camping, tables, campfire rings with grills, vault toilets, drinking water, firewood, picnic areas and trash collection.
