Spider Rock Campground is a gorgeous, raw landscape, nestled in a natural wooded area of the Tse Ho Tso Plateau at Canyon de Chelly. Campers can look forward to breathtaking sights of varied rock formations, red dirt, and long plains against which ti view on of those iconic Arizona sunsets. Go climbing, mountain biking or hiking those rock formations, or enjoy the Three Turkey Ruins Navajo Tribal Park. Visitors often take Jeep tours around the various sites, or travel a little outside of the park to enjoy excellent local cuisine, shopping and entertainment.

The Cottonwood Campground is located in the Canyon de Chelly National Monument, nestled on what many describe as a mini "Grand Canyon," without the fuss and giant crowds of the actual grand canyon. Campers can take advantage of jeep tours of the various rock formations and geological features. Many drive along the rim of the canyon or just hike, bike and 4X4 drive along the plains toward the multiple great overlooks. This is the perfect spot for an outdoor adventure, especially for visitors who enjoy the desert weather and clear skies for stargazing.

Located in the Gallup Parks and Recreation system is the Red Rock Park. The red cliffs are remnants of the dinosaur age and are especially popular with history buffs. The campground is known for having a great deal of activities for visitors; expect a full slate of sports, entertainment and cultural events, as well as the occasional rodeo. The Lions Club Rodeo is held yearly and draws large crowds; they come through during the summer months so don't miss it! True to the Native American heritage of the state, the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial and the Ceremonial Rodeo are held near the RV Park. It all started with “Work Camp” for the Florez family from the small village called Angostura near Blanco, New Mexico. The Florez families’ mission of working the land and raising cattle continues to be at the heart of their family with decades of large group day camping, overnight dry camping, and going to “hunt camp” in the fall with the excitement of the hunt. Amenities include picnic tables, covered shelters, charcoal grills, and more. Their goal is to provide a place where you can rest and enjoy your family and friends in an area surrounded by cottonwoods at the end of a private road that places you up next to the San Juan River. Whether you have a tent, an RV, or just want to use a day shelter for your family event, you can spend a day or night relaxing by the peaceful San Juan River.

Just a half mile from Aztec Ruins National Monument, the park takes people close to one of the state's most interesting historical artifacts. View the remains of Aztec architecture and explore the small town of Aztec before returning to a clean and well-maintained campground at Ruins Road.

Located in Bloomfield, New Mexico is the Moore's RV Park and Campground and is popular for being close to many local attractions. The OK RV Park is located in the cozy town of Holbrook, Arizona, and is a great place to enjoy a relaxing outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to the breathtaking sites of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert National Park, both with intricate and challenging trails for visitors to hike, bike and explore. Canyon de Chelly, the Meteor Crater and the Harvey House in Winslow are also relatively close by and certainly worth a visit. The Mom and Pop RV Park is located in Farmington, New Mexico, and is relatively close to several local attractions. Visitors can look forward to the Bolack Museum and the Aztec Ruins where they can take advantage of a guided tour. Campers can also visit the Three Rivers Tap and Game Room. There are shops, restaurants and stores nearby to the convenience of travelers; stop by local eateries on your way to the nearby Animas and San Juan Rivers. Picnic on the river banks, or go exploring through the town during your visit.  

The Coal Mine Campground is located on gently sloping hills in Grants, New Mexico, and is known for being set against amazing pinion, juuniper, gambel oak and mature ponderosa pine trees. The road gives visitors access to a quarter mile nature trail accessible by a historic bridge biult by the job corps. Campers often take advantage of the diverse landscape to go biking, horseback riding and wildlife watching, not to mention picnicking. This is the perfect place for a quiet vacation, and a complete immersion in to the best of the southwestern natural landscape. 

Located between EL Malpais and El Morro Narional Parks is El Morro RV Park and Cabins.  Campers can look forward to a thriving ecosystem filled with birds, amphibians and reptilians that call the monument home. Keep your camera and binoculars handy to catch sight of pinion pines, juniper, ponderosa and Gabel oak, and be sure to bring your sneakers to conquer some of the excellent hiking and biking trails around the campsites. The Ancient Way Cafe is also a great spot.; enjoy some of the eats and drinks that are native to New Mexico, and truly appreciate the history and culture of the area by chatting with the staff.
