Martin Stream Campground is a clean, quiet, peaceful campground with a great family atmosphere nestled on 18 wooded acres along Martin Stream in Turner, Maine. The campground is located in the western mountain region of Maine in the beautiful town of Turner. Martin Stream Campground is very pet-friendly and proud to have the ability to accommodate a variety of camping styles- from tents to large RVs with slide outs. Camp on one of 55 wooded sites (many along the stream) and enjoy the peacefulness of the campground. All sites have water and 30 amp electric hookup, along with a picnic table and fireplace. Enjoy excellent fishing from many of our sites and dock, or canoe/kayak along 22 miles of river or stream from the campground. You can also hike one of the many mountains around us located in the Western Mountain Region. Martin Stream Campground was established in 1970 and has been running as a campground ever since.  Each site is surrounded by tall leaf filled trees. The sites are spacious enough that you won't feel like you're on top on your neighbor. Martin Stream Campground is excited to have you join us for a weekend, a whole week or for the entire camping season! We are a small, family run campground nestled in the River Valley area of the Lakes and Mountains region in Byron, Maine.  Our campground is very accessible being located just off of the scenic by-way, state route 17 on the Swift River. Our quiet natural campground and cabins are set up for campers who want to take in the beauty that Maine's Lakes and Mountain region has to offer.  We have something for every type of camper, including RV sites, tent sites and cabins that have a rustic charm.  Sites range from no hook-up to full hook-up, 20, 30 and 50 amp , wooded and secluded, some with riverfront access. One of the highlights of our campground is the Swift River, which is a popular place to pan for gold, collect rocks or swim. Coos Canyon has a 32-foot high gorge where the water depth occasionally exceeds 20 feet. Also in abundance from our back yard are Hiking trails, ATV trails (250 miles), Scenic Overlooks, Quaint Towns, Eateries, Wild Life, and Fishing/Hunting areas. Our ATV friendly camping areas are just a short jaunt to the trail and you can ride right from your site. Snowmobiling, Snow Shoeing and Skiing are highlights in the winter months.
