The McGillivray Campground is located in Libby, Montana, adjacent to a reservoir. The Swisher Lake Campground is located northwest of the town of Eureka, and is a favorite among campers looking for a quiet getaway into the pristine natural landscape of Montana. Get ready to go horseback riding and mountain biking along the hills and peaks of the wilderness, and also hiking and exploring. The area is known for its wildlife, so keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. Boating and fishing at the lake are also very common, so be sure to take advantage of the water and have a great time. 

The Ashley Lake North Campground is located along the sky blue waters of Ashley Lake and is an absolute treasure among visitors and locals alike. Take time at the waterside to fish for various types of trout or go water skiing or boating on the water during one of the area's many warm days. For those of you hoping for more relaxing activities, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and swimming are also common at Ashley Lake. There's also plenty of space in and around the campsite for hiking, mountain biking and just plain exploring, so make sure to keep your trip schedule loose so you can really get lost in the gorgeous lakeside forest.

The Grave Creek Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a great place to lose yourself in the gorgeous Montana mountain side. Fishing is one of the main activities at this campsite, so get ready for excellent trout fishing and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset over the water's surface. Wildlife and scenic viewing is also common at this park, so keep your eyes open and your camera handy to soak in the views of the gorgeous mountainside as well as the curious elk, deer and moose that roam the wilderness. 

The Holland Lake Campground is located near the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail. At an elevation of over 4,500 feet, visitors can enjoy the mild weather, thick foliage and plenty of shade. There's also several excellent trails that take campers up and around some of the most beautiful spots of the Holland Falls area. Don't be shy! You don't have to limit yourself to hiking; get your mountain bike out of the garage and have a blast at these trails if you can. There's also plenty of fishing to be done at Holland Lake; there's a variety of trout and salmon and a wide lake surface that's perfect for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and boating.

The Sylvia Lake Campground is a primitive site, with plenty of excellent mountain-scapes over the sea and sky. Look forward to lake activities such as trout fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. There's also plenty of  gorgeous land for all of your hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding needs. Picnicking is also popular at this site, and a little known treat is stargazing. Stay out late and spread a blanket to enjoy the true beauty of the park. 

Located in the Flathead National Forest is the Lindberg Lake Campground, a gorgeous oasis of Montana wilderness and pristine waters. Campers can look forward to wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes peeling for elk, moose, deer and various species of birds. There's also plenty of open space for hiking, biking, horseback riding and exploring, as well as acres of water space on the lake to fish, swim, boat, water ski and even just enjoy a quiet evening by the water side. 

The Upper Stillwater Lake Campground is located is located in the Flathead National Forest and though it is a primitive campsite, it is very popular, especially around the summer months. The campsite is well-known for its gorgeous scenes and hiking trails, as well as fishing at the lake. Look forward to plenty of trout, and great weather for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking and water skiing. Campers can also expect great wildlife viewing; keep your eyes open for curious deer, moose and elk, as well as beautiful birds near the lakeside.  

Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing. At winter time, campers can take advantage of water sports like skiing, sledding and snow shoeing, so if you like those activities, you'll absolutely love this park. 

This KOA is located in the the gorgeous Montana city of Polson. The town is popular for its excellent local attractions, museums and historic sites, so make sure to carve out some time to visit Polson. Campers can look forward to the National Bison Range and Glacier National Park nearby where they can enjoy breathtaking mountain views, hiking and mountain biking. There's also a thriving ecosystem surrounding the campground, so visitors can expect to see not only tall, healthy fir and pine trees, but also elk, deer and moose. Most campers also take advantage of the neighboring Flathead Lake for touring, cruising and trout fishing, so be sure to set aside plenty of time for that. Local dining and entertainment is also excellent, so if you're hoping for a taste of local culture, visit the various restaurants and eateries around town.
