The Pinion Beach Campground is located at the tip of a small peninsula in El Vado Lake, New Mexico. Campers enjoy this sit particularly for its fresh, crisp air and gorgeous views of the valley below. Its also great for hiking and mountain biking so don't miss out on that as well as the winter sports made popular by the mountains slopes. The New Canyon Campground is located in Mountainair New Mexico in the Cibola National Forest. The area is surrounded by juniper and pinion pine which rings the top of Mills Canyon; although there's not very much shade for people, if you bring your horses, you're sure to find shade for them. The area is popular for its wide, open spaces, providing plenty of room for ATV enthusiasts, equestrians and portable corrals. With hundreds of acres of wild, desert land, this park is perfect for clear skies and star gazing, biking and exploring, so feel free to go out there and explore! The park has tent sites and tent pads, but no amenities beyond that, so bring everything you need for a distraction-free stay. We hope you visit soon!

Enjoy spectacular sights at the Wild River's Campground including deep, steep-sided canyons carved out by the Rio Grande River and the Red River through beautiful, volcanic rock. Go hiking on one of the three trails that descend to the river. Most campers visit for the camping, but there's plenty of sight seeing, photography and biking to be done, so bring everything you need to explore!

At an elevation of over 9,800 feet, Hopewell Lake Campground is filled not only with gorgeous mountain ranges and forestry, but crisp, fresh air. Located between Tres Pierdas and Tierra Amarilla, expect excellent outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking and tons of mountain biking. You can also fish for rainbow trout and brook at the 14 acres that makeup Hopewell Lake. Picnicking is another popular activity, and it's even better at dusk when you can enjoy beautiful New Mexico sunsets and star gazing. It's the perfect spot for your next quiet, nature getaway. 

Known for its excellent hiking opportunities, the La Laja Campground is on Heron Lake State Park. Also enjoy water sports such as canoeing, kayaking and boating as well as cross-country skiing during the winter months. With such a breathtaking landscape around the lake, campers can also look forward to landscape and wildlife viewing. 

The Arroyo Hondo Recreation is located in the beautiful city of Taos, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next southwestern vacation. Look forward to site seeing at the Rio del Norte National Monument, and enjoying the great fishing opportunity offered at the local streams. The Willow Creek Campground is located at the Heron Lake State Park in New Mexico and neighbors Santa Fe. It's the perfect spot for fresh air and acres and acres of gorgeous forestry and southwestern beauty. Enjoy fishing trout and salmon, and since the lake is a designated "quiet lake," you can also look forward to peaceful canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Hiking is also very popular at this site, but don't forget your bike if you want to experience the trails just a little bit differently! You can alos make a day trip to Santa Fe or Albuquerque, so plan to catch the balloon festival if you can. It's a real treat. 

Located near Eagle's Nest on the scenic Enchanted Circle Byway is Cimarron River, home of the Cimarron Canyon State Park. The area is famous for its majestic trees, and dense forestry. Visit the park to enjoy fresh, crisp air, exquisite views and interesting geological features. Other than site seeing, visitors can look forward to excellent hiking trails, biking, fly fishing, equestrian trails and picnicking.

The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there.
