If you like the water, you'll fall in love with Flathead Lake. Expansive, the lake has plenty of room for fishing, swimming, cruising, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing and paddle boarding, as well as a stellar view of the horizon to catch one of those gorgeous Montana sunsets. 

The Upper Stillwater Lake Campground is located is located in the Flathead National Forest and though it is a primitive campsite, it is very popular, especially around the summer months. The campsite is well-known for its gorgeous scenes and hiking trails, as well as fishing at the lake. Look forward to plenty of trout, and great weather for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking and water skiing. Campers can also expect great wildlife viewing; keep your eyes open for curious deer, moose and elk, as well as beautiful birds near the lakeside.  

Located in the beautiful Swan River Valley is the Lake Placid Lake State Park, and the lake provides a peaceful setting for your next Montana getaway. Campers can look forward to boating, fishing for whitefish and trout, canoeing or kayaking, water skiing, or just enjoy a picnic at the waterside. If you enjoy birding, you'll absolutely love this bar, so look forward to species like red-necked grepes, great blue herons, bald eagles and osprey. Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing. At winter time, campers can take advantage of water sports like skiing, sledding and snow shoeing, so if you like those activities, you'll absolutely love this park. 

This KOA is located in the the gorgeous Montana city of Polson. The town is popular for its excellent local attractions, museums and historic sites, so make sure to carve out some time to visit Polson. Campers can look forward to the National Bison Range and Glacier National Park nearby where they can enjoy breathtaking mountain views, hiking and mountain biking.
