The Whitetaile Camp Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest and runs alongside Whitetail Creek. Located in Central Montana in the Lewis and Clark National Forest is the Wood Lake Campground. Near the banks of a high elevation lake, the park is surrounded by deep woods, fresh air and offers acres and acres of forest for exploration. Hiking is certainly a popular activity at this park, so if you love to hike, bring your boots and get ready for the several challenging trails that extend out of the forest. Visitors can also enjoy plenty of fishing, and the campground is especially quiet early in the mornings for a quick escape into a serene fishing experience. 

The Indian Hill Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and is popular particularly among hikers. If you love to explore thick, lush forestry and challenging trails, this is a great spot, especially since there are great views from the various peaks. The South Fork of Judith River is nearby, so get ready for excellent trout fishing, and other water activities such as whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking. Visitors can also look forward to gorgeous skies at sunrise and sunset, and a clear atmosphere for stellar star gazing. 

The Alexander Creek Campground is located in the beautiful town of Libby, Montana. Campers can look forward to plenty of crisp, fresh air at the over 5,500 foot elevation, and the pristine natural environment perfect for outdoor adventures. This primitive camping spot is perfect for fishing along the Kootenai River, enjoy boating, canoeing and kayaking, and then come on land for challenging hiking and mountain biking paths. There's also plenty of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, moose and elk, as well as those night time skies for the iconic Montana stargazing locals enjoy. 

Halfway between the Glacier National Park and Yellowstone is the Deer lodge KOA. With Clark Fork River running right through it, campers can look forward to excellent fishing for brown trout. There's also a plethora of outdoor activities to keep campers busy and having fun. Visitors can look forward to horseshoes, badminton, scenic viewing and local attractions. Check out the Old Montana Prison Complex, Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site and the Montana Museum. There's also a tour shuttle to take campers to various historic or cultural landmarks at Deer Lodge, so look forward to those!

Here's why: the area is thick with lush, thriving fir and pine trees, and the acres and acres of forestry guarantee fresh air for hiking, biking and picnicking. The Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Lodgepole Pine Forests of southwestern Montana, and runs adjacent to the Warms Springs Creek. Campers can look forward to a number of great outdoor activities, all within acres and acres of fresh, gorgeous pines, and at an elevation of over 3,000 feet. Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. Visitors can expect excellent rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout fishing at the lake and plenty of room for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking.
