The Gird Point Lookout Cabin is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and is popular because it's so secluded from most other parks. Campers can look forward to a unique chance to camp on the top of a mountain peak in an old-time rustic setting. Equipped with everything a visitor will need for their stay, the cabin also has gear for outdoor activities. You can also bring your own things to enjoy mountain biking, winter sports like snow shoeing and skiing as well as hiking. And of course, enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views of the mountain ranges and canyons below. Be sure to not only pause and stargaze, but bring your camera to capture those views. 

Wood Cabin is located on the scenic shore of Lake Como, and offers campers a rustic, winter escape into the woods of Montana. Visitors can look forward to spectacular mountain views, and quiet all around, as well as number of activities at the lake. Rainbow and cuttroat trout fishing, boating, swimming and other water sports are popular on the lake. About three miles from the cabin is a gorgeous waterfall, and there's other beautiful natural features to explore. Be sure to bring your hiking boots and mountain bike with you, as well as your gear for ice fishing, snow shoeing and skiing. The Schumaker Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and sits on the edge of Twin Lakes. Though no motorized water sports are allowed on the lake, campers can look forward to plenty of peace and stillness to go paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Campers can also take advantage of the trails for hiking and mountain biking, but are encouraged to keep their eyes open for deer, moose, elk, birds and small creatures. Be sure to rise early or be still at dusk to catch one of those gorgeous red sunrises and sunsets. You won't be disappointed!

The Martin Creek Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest near Martin Creek, so campers can expect acres and acres of thriving fir and pine trees as well as pristine waters perfect for trout fishing. Love exploring? Visitors have access to a trail head from this campground that takes them to Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, or just go mountain biking around the various paths around the creek. Picnicking is also popular at this campground, so if you have a big group, be sure to pack sandwiches and just enjoy the day at one of the picnic areas. 

The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

The Three Sisters Group Site Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and is just across the road from the Rock Creek Horse Camp. Get ready for a gorgeous campsite with plenty of space to room and amenities to guarantee you a distraction-free stay. Visitors can look forward to fishing at Rock Creek, or just hanging out at the water's edge with friends; campers can also expect acres and acres of forestry for exploring, hiking and mountain biking, as well as picnic tables for group camping. 

The Sam Billings Memorial Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for wildlife like deer, elk and curious moose, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!

Zip's Place Cabin is located in Essez, Montana and is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lose yourself at winter time in the gorgeous, white snow and long paths for snow mobile drives, sledding and skiing. All around the cabin are acres and acres of gorgeous countryside, filled with tall fir and pine trees and echoes of peace and quiet. Campers can also look forward to plenty of space for hiking, wildlife viewing and exploration, and the Flathead River is nearby so get there early in the season for fishing. 

The Mission Lookout Cabin towers above the forest canopy, providing guests with unrivaled 360 degree views of the beautiful Swan Lake. At an elevation of over 3,700 feet, visitors can look forward to great weather and scenic views of the Flathead National Forest. Along with the spectacular scenery, the immediate area offers visitors an unlimited array of outdoor activities ranging from fishing and swimming at the nearby Swan Lake, to watching the migratory waterfowl at the wildlife area. Hunting is also popular not far from the lookout. Shooting within 150 yards of the lookout or from the road is not allowed. A variety of hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the area.    

The Silvertip Cabin is located only a short walk from the Spotted River, and at an elevation of over 4,400 feet, is a great site for all types of outdoor activities. The cabin is only available on weekends, but during those few days, guests can enjoy great hiking and horseback riding trails, hunting and wildlife viewing. There are elk, moose, deer and a plethora of small creatures hidden within the forestry, so stay alert and curious! With plenty of fresh air and wide open space for exploring, this is a popular site so book early!
