OHV driving is popular as is fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, red-eared  sun fish, channel catfish and several species of trout. Travelers can also expect excellent boating, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. Around the park, there's space for hiking and biking, so when you come, don't forget your gear!

Travelers can also take day trips to nearby attractions like the historical and cultural city of Laughlin which is filled with lakes, parks, restaurants and museums. The nearby hot springs or Burro Creek is also well-known, and the Grand Canyon Skywalk is only 2 hours away. Plus, the RV Park is a short drive to the Colorado River for excellent fishing, river rafting, canoeing, boating and kayaking. 

Description: Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort is a 55+ RV and mobile home park with large RV spaces open to all ages throughout the year. Our RV spaces feature full hookups and allow well-behaved pets for no additional charge. The park is located in the largely undeveloped Chuckwalla Valley just 2 miles north of US Hwy 10 at the Desert Center exit. Come experience our peaceful desert and mountain surroundings with amazing sunrises, sunsets, and starry skies. Amenities & Activities: Campground amenities include an air-conditioned clubhouse with TV, Wi-Fi, a lending library, games, and a pool table. There is also a heated swimming pool, spa, bathrooms with hot showers, and a coin-op laundry facility. Visitors can enjoy on-site activities such as off-roading/ATVing right outside the park, lake activities such as SUP and kayaking (SUPs and kayaks are not provided), and catch-and-release fishing.
