Grassy Point is located at El Vado Lake, New Mexico and is a great place to kick-back and soak in the spirit of adventure that exists everywhere in Tierra Amarillo. Look forward to gorgeous views over the lake and plenty of space for water sports like boating, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking. There's also wildlife to view to keep your camera and binocular handy in case a bald eagle decides to visit your site. Be sure to look up on those dark nights to take in the light show which is in full swing at sunrise and sunset. You'll be amazed!

Be sure to bring your reel for excellent trout and salmon fishing, swimming and boating at over 7,000 feet up. Campers enjoy this sit particularly for its fresh, crisp air and gorgeous views of the valley below. Its also great for hiking and mountain biking so don't miss out on that as well as the winter sports made popular by the mountains slopes. The Willow Creek Campground is located at the Heron Lake State Park in New Mexico and neighbors Santa Fe. It's the perfect spot for fresh air and acres and acres of gorgeous forestry and southwestern beauty. Enjoy fishing trout and salmon, and since the lake is a designated "quiet lake," you can also look forward to peaceful canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Hiking is also very popular at this site, but don't forget your bike if you want to experience the trails just a little bit differently! You can alos make a day trip to Santa Fe or Albuquerque, so plan to catch the balloon festival if you can. It's a real treat. 

The Juniper Campground is located at the Bandelier National Monument and is a popular campign spot for families and small groups of about 10 people or fewer. Look forward to some breathtaking views of the cliffside and mountain ranges, as well as a thriving wildlife landscape. Keep you eyes open for deer, the Bandelier butterflies, American pika and Abert's squirrels, as well the beautiful natural terrain that there creatures call home. The hiking trails at this park are slightly easier and shorter than at other parks at Bandelier, and this ensures that children and younger camper are not overly taxed as they explore the area. Also be sure to take pictures of the beautiful monument and look upward at dawn or dusk to see that iconic New Mexico sky!
