To access the trail from the 5th wheel head to the north end of the property, follow the gravel road up towards the bathhouse area you will see a trail that drops back down onto the old railroad Bed and then go about 50’ and your on the new trail. We are the only private property with direct access to this trail, if you go about 1/2 mile down the trail from here is a section of the legendary Boone Trail aka FS Butt Mountain trail which has been really improved upon recently and it goes all the way up to the Iron Range Trail which you can then hike directly into Damascus or all the way over to the infamous Backbone Rock even, this trail was The old Appalachian Trail Route before they made the new route the next Ridge west of here, but this area offers a much more peaceful hiking experience and is really amazing given the mild climate we get here with abundant wildlife  this place is awesome!
