The Jennings Camp Campground is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and campers flock there continually to soak in those gorgeous views from the mountain peaks. With acres and acres of fir and pine trees filling the landscape, the campsite is also popular for its hiking and biking paths and wildlife viewing. Look forward to elk, deer and moose, as well as plenty of white fish and trout in the nearby East Fork of the Bitterroot River to fish. The campground is also popular for picnicking, so it's perfect if you're camping with a group. 

The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake. Look forward to ice and pond fishing for various species of trout, and calm, beautiful waters for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Water skiing and swimming are also popular at this park. The air is fresh, clean and clear, making it ideal for picnicking and stargazing. The are is quiet, well-maintained and beautiful, and is great for your next Montana getaway. 

The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

The Racetrack Campground is located in southwest Montana near the Racetrack Creek, and is surrounded by the gorgeous pines and firs native to Montana. Visitors can look forward to excellent trout fishing at the creek, as well as plenty of space for picnicking and enjoying group fun. There's also natural paths to explore, so be sure to do some hiking and biking and pause every now and again to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area. Deer, elk and moose are common. 

The Mussigbrod Campground is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Campers love these grounds because of the number of excellent activities they can enjoy, including horseback riding and scenic viewing. Wildlife viewing is also popular, so keep your eyes open for mule deer, elk and moose, as well as small creatures and birds. If you like water activities, you'll love this campground; at the nearby lake, campers can look forward to whitefish and trout fishing, non-motorized boating and swimming. And of course, in this gorgeous wilderness of fir and thriving pine trees, visitors can expect beautiful sights while hiking and mountain biking the paths. 

Serene, beautiful and off the beaten Montana trail is the Racetrack Cabin. The small building is tucked away within the dense forest and is well-known is a quiet safe-haven for hunters, and retreat from the curious bears roaming around outside. At an elevation of over 6,300 feet, expect a cool climate and acres of green vegetation. Popular outdoor activities include: hiking the various trails, or trout fishing at Racetrack Creek. Vacationers can also look forward to winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing. An hour drive from the cabin will take campers to the city for supplies, fine, local dining and even some live music or a historic site or two.

The White house Campground is located in at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest. The Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Lodgepole Pine Forests of southwestern Montana, and runs adjacent to the Warms Springs Creek. Campers can look forward to a number of great outdoor activities, all within acres and acres of fresh, gorgeous pines, and at an elevation of over 3,000 feet. Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. The Philipsburg Bay Campground is adjacent Georgetown lake, and is perfect for a quiet yet adventure-filled outdoor experience. The site is popular for trout fishing, but is also great for wildlife viewing outside of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, moose and even bears, as well as the sights and smells of the gorgeous lush forests. Canoeing and boating are also popular, as is hiking and horseback riding.
