The East Side Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great place for a quiet yet adventurous southwestern vacation. Enjoy excellent fishing at the lake for trout, bass, crappie and walleye, and plenty of water surface for water sports such as swimming, boating, canoeing and paddle boarding. Of course, with so much open area to explore, many campers go on long hikes or bike rides along the trails or make their own paths. The Aker's RV Park is located in Clovis, New Mexico, an area famous for the Norman and Vi Petty Rock 'N Roll Museum. The South Area Campground is located at the Storrie Lake State Park and is a popular site for outdoor activities and some serene lakeside relaxation. The area is also well-known for excellent fishing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, caoneing and boating. The area can get hot, but look forward to crisp, fresh breezes off the lake, which keeps the temperature ideal for outdoor activities. The Kiowa National Grassland is a primitive campsite located in Mills, New Mexico. The area is surrounded by juniper and pinion pine which rings the top of Mills Canyon; although there's not very much shade for people, if you bring your horses, you're sure to find shade for them. The area is popular for its wide, open spaces, providing plenty of room for ATV enthusiasts, equestrians and portable corrals. With hundreds of acres of wild, desert land, this park is perfect for clear skies and star gazing, biking and exploring, so feel free to go out there and explore! At an over 6,100 foot elevation and nestled between two high sandstone bluffs is the Villanueva National Park. There's tons of excellent outdoor activities to enjoy, so get ready for great fishing, birding, wildlife viewing, wildflower viewing or mountain biking. Visitors especially love to hike the various trails, so get ready to explore the gorgeous forestry that climbs up the bluffs and runs through the canyon. There's also equestrian trails as well as a number of picnic tables, so whether you want to go galloping through the wilderness or hang out with friends over great food, there's plenty of space and picnic tables to make that happen!

Visit Lake Sumner to enjoy the exquisite terrain iconic of the southwest. Bring your camera to capture tall, looming mountains in the background and acres of forested plains. The park is popular maong people who love watersports, but also offers excellent trails and pathways for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Enjoy swimming, boating and of course excellent fly fishing while you're there. The park is also close to Santa Fe, and is a great stopping point if you're headed that way. The park is also relatively close to the Bosque Redondo Memorial and Fort Sumner.
