The Halfmoon Campground is located at the Custer Gallatin National Forest and is the perfect spot for a quiet, Montana getaway. Campers can look forward to gorgeous fir and pine trees as well as the bustling waters of the Big Timber Creek. Love fishing? You'll fall in love with the trout fishing at this creek, and the various pools that make for excellent wading spots. Hiking is also immensely popular at this park so look forward to the gorgeous views from those peaks and hills, and the various paths ideal for mountain biking. Nature viewing is also common, so be sure to bring your camera to capture one of those iconic Montana sunrises or sunsets or a curious deer or elk.

The Black Sandy State Park is located in Helena, Montana and is one of the area's most popular camping spots. Get ready for a wide variety of outdoor activities, so plan for a long vacation. Visitors can look forward to picnicking at the parks that line the Hauser Reservoir, or go fishing at any of the numerous bodies of water at the state park. Boating, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking are also popular, and be sure to come by during the winter time for ice fishing and other winter time activities. The White house Campground is located in at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest. Popular in late spring/summer, the campground is known for ATV paths, mountain biking, hiking trails and horseback riding. During the winter months, skiing and snow mobile-driving is popular, and of course, plenty of fishing at Thunderbolt Creek.  

The Ladysmith Campground is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest and is a perfect spot for a quiet, and relaxing getaway from the busyness of daily life. It's a primitive campground and located near Boulder River, so get ready for some excellent fishing, and water sports such as water skiing, boating and swimming. Campers can also look forward to beautiful sights along the hiking trails and mountain biking paths. The Mormon Gulch Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest, so get ready for some incredible nature terrain, curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose for viewing and nearby creeks for fishing. Look forward to various species of trout and calm waters for boating, water skiing and swimming, as well as plenty of open space for hiking and mountain biking. And of course, visitors can look forward to the high elevation and fresh air for picnicking.
