Ardoyne Plantation house is set in a cluster of live oaks surrounded by sugarcane fields northwest of Houma, Louisiana.  The home is owned by the same family that built it in 1888 and is now providing tours to the public! This stately home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its 75-foot tower, cove-molded ceilings, carved fireplace, and Victorian Gothic architecture. We currently only offer dry docking on gravel under the trees. We are new to RV parking so come on by! Audubon R.V. Park is a small no frills park. It is located in the heart of Vermilion Parish Louisiana. (Cajun Country) We have 7 full hook up site's with 50 amp. plugs. If you like clean and quiet this is your place. We offer full hook ups. Municipal Water, sewer and 50 amp. electrical. All back in parking on a very hard limestone base. We are located approximately 6 Mi south of Abbeville louisiana. If you like seafood and steaks Abbeville has some of the best seafood restaurants and steaks anywhere. If you visit the Abbeville cultural Alliance Center you will be able to see all that Vermilion parsh and the surrounding area has to offer. Things like the Louisiana military museum at the Abbeville airport. The Cajun History Museum in Erath and the Tabasco Factory in New Iberia are just a few so book your stay with us today and as we say here in louisiana laissez le bon temps rouler. Hidden Treasure RV Resort offers water, electric, and sewer at each of our 24 sites. Travelers looking for a peaceful country setting will enjoy our spacious, shaded sites on our private 11-acre campground just 20 minutes from Alexandria, LA. Guests have free access to our private boat launch and boat dock on Cotile Lake. Picnic tables are provided at our overnight sites. Fire pits, BBQ pits, or additional folding tables are available upon request. Bathhouse, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi are available on site. Owners live on-site to ensure you enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay, or to assist guests with camping questions or local recommendations. We are pet-friendly, however pets should not be left outside unattended.  We allow guests to make online reservations to 3 of our pull-thru sites that have a lakeview can be booked online through our website. The crumbling brick ruins of a sugar mill built in 1829 by Bernard de Marigny de Mandeville, founder of the nearby town of Mandeville, suggest an interesting history for this site, and indeed there is. The wealthy Marigny developed this area across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans as a sugar plantation until 1852. The plantation income helped support his lavish lifestyle. He named his large land holding Fontainebleau after the beautiful forest near Paris, a favorite recreation area of the French kings. The 2,800-acre park is located on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. On a clear day, visitors can see the lake dotted with multi-colored sailboats of all sizes and types. The sandy beach also is a delight for sunbathers. An old railroad track that runs through the park has been converted into the Tammany Trace as a part of the Rails to Trails program. It is a wonderful route for cycling, hiking and in-line skating. After a full day of activities, overnight guests can enjoy the rustic charm of the campground or the scenic setting of the lakefront cabins. The park's nature trail is a favorite of nature lovers. Interpretive signs along the trail will help you identify many of the common trees and shrubs. Always be on the lookout for birds and other animals, as over 400 different species live in and around Fontainebleau. Bordered on three sides by water – Lake Pontchartrain, Bayou Cane and Bayou Castine – and characterized by a convergence of diverse ecosystems, it has a multitude of habitats for birds.  

Bogue Chitto Water Park is a park located 230-acre wildlife refuge near McComb, Mississippi. It features 81 campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides free WiFi, allows pets, and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include a boat ramp, nature trails, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills.
