Pecan Grove RV Park as the name suggests is surrounded by gorgeous pecan trees, and is a well-loved spot among campers for being centrally located in Austin, Texas. Mobile transportation isn't necessary when visiting Pecan Grove RV Park, since the Zach Theater, Zilker Park, Town Lake, The Alamo Drafthouse and dozens of other attractions are within walking and biking distance. Management is responsive and pleasant, and even though the park is near so many downtown Austin attractions, the campsite is known for being quiet and peaceful. Many visitors camp here for months at a time, so be sure to make reservations early. Krause Springs is a well known swimming hole and camping area located in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The 115 acre property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites and has been privately owned by the Krause Family for over 50 years. The property has many natural sites to explore -- 32 springs feed a manmade pool as well as a natural pool featuring a waterfall and underwater caves. Guests are welcome to explore many walking trails, shady picnic areas, fishing spots and take a stroll through the Butterfly Gardens. Be sure to make time to relax or take a nap while listening to the music of the wind chimes and the fountains. There are many designated areas to primitive camp surrounded by nature as well as 24 RV sites with water and electricity (20/30/50 amp) available.
