The San Onofre Bluff Campground is a short distance inland from the 3.5-miles of sandy beaches within San Onofre State Beach. The campground is set high above the beach on a bluff along a 3-mile stretch of coast. Activities and Amenities The San Onofre Bluffs camping area is one of the most popular Southern California's beach camping areas. The long walk and paid parking keep out the crowds, so you have plenty of individual time to enjoy Old Man's, Dog Patch and Trestles. The Cooper Canyon Trail Camp is located within the beautiful 700,00 acre Angeles National Park just outside of Los Angeles. It is located at 6,300 feet in elevation and designed for skilled campers since it requires a hike-in to get to the sites.   Amenities and Activities   There are six sites available, and while there is sometimes a stream for water, it is suggested that campers bring in all their own supplies. The mountain scenery and the wildlife more than make up for the lack of modern amenities.
