We have a full-time manager Mrs. Donna on site that’ll be sure to make you feel at home and your check in experience hassle free. While you’re with us, be sure to check out our facilities where you can enjoy multiple amenities including a lounge room with cable and a large flat screen TV, men and women’s shower rooms that are maintained daily, a coin operated laundromat, and vending machines for those last-minute snacks. Don’t be shy to jump in on a card game with some of our regulars while you’re in there! We didn’t forget about your furry friends either. Complete with a fenced in dog park, we offer something for the whole family. We’re also pleased to offer FREE WIFI for every guest during their stay. Be sure to ask about our onsite storage accommodations while you’re here. For a small additional fee, we have on site storage units in multiple sizes perfect for guests that plan to stay a while. Hanceville is home to one of the nation’s most iconic shrines, Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. The construction began in 1996 and was completed in 1999, under the direction of Mother Angelica of the Eternal Word Television Network. A little further up the road you can enjoy the Huntsville space center that’s sure to be a great stop for all ages! Big Fish at Wedowee is a Family RV Park approximately one mile from Fosters Bridge Boat Ramp at Lake Wedowee, Alabama. Nestled in a beautiful wooded setting just outside Lineville, Alabama. Easy to access with  paved roads all the way to the entrance of the campgroundBig Fish at Wedowee RV Park is excited to offer WEEKLY site rentals. Yes, you heard that right, we are offering weekly rentals at Lake Wedowee!   We are a new campground that is currently still under development, We will be adding and upgrading different aspects of the park as we progress. We are working hard to make this a family-friendly and fun space at Lake Wedowee. We are now taking limited reservations for Phase 1,  lots 1-11. The park offers a friendly environment where families can feel safe and right at home. Sites 1-11 are back-in sites that offer full water and sewer hookups catering to RVs up to 45 feet, with boat dock access a mile down the road, Big Fish at Wedowee is a perfect area for dog walking, biking, sporting activities, or taking a nightly stroll. We are currently working on developing phase 2 and the park amenities with the hope that both will be open SOON.  Campsite amenities offered include: paved road to the campground entrance full back-in sites minutes from Lake Wedowee     

Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater is a sports, leisure, wellness and entertainment venue with 16 tennis courts, 14 outdoor turf fields, a 7,500 person capacity amphitheater, an 8-lane indoor competition pool, an outdoor water park, playgrounds, an RV park, and a 103,000-square-foot community recreation center that includes hardwood courts, a 2-story fitness center, concessions, locker rooms and conference/party rooms.
