Running through the campground and perfect for a quiet morning fishing is the Rio Fernando de Taos stream, and there's acres and acres of open space for exploring. The Taose Monte Bello RV Park is located in El Prado, New Mexico and sit son 5 acres of beautiful open space on the desert plateau. Just at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the park is perfectly situated for an easy-going, relaxing vacation. Within a few miles are seven museums, multiple art galleries and launchign spots for balloon rides over the vast New Mexico desert. You can also visit the Taos Pueblo and Rio Grande Gorge Bridge for some excellent pictures and a peek into the area's rich historical past. Finally, be sure to hike and bike around the area, and pick out a spot to see the gorgeous reds and oranges that New Mexico sunsets are known for. 

The Black Canyon Campground is located in Santa Fe, and is right next door to the Hyde Memorial State Park. Visit this campground for an escape into the iconic beauty and fresh air of New mexico where campers can find plenty of scenic heights along the parks hiking trails. Visitors can also look forward to several hilly spots for mountain biking. There's also plenty of bare banks for picnicking and of course, star gazing. The Red River RV Park is located in a perfect spot for exploring the natural environment of Red River, New Mexico. Within the small town, visitors can look forward to a ski and summer area as well as local eateries and watering holes. Campers can also expect water sports like fishing, kayaking and swimming at Bitter Creek or the Red River. With all the forestry and water in the area, expect great hiking and biking trails and wonderfully clear spots for stargazing. Located on Heron Lake, The Island View Campground is a gorgeous site, surrounded by tall pines and fresh lakeside breezes. Fishing, swimming and kayaking are popular activities at this park, so get ready to head out on the water on any one of the area's great-weather days. Hiking and biking are common at the lake, with beautiful and challenging trails. Visitors can also look forward to wind surfing, cross country skiing and regular skiing during the winter months. 

The Sipapu Lodge is located in Vadito, New Mexico a hugely popular spot for being a laid-back, quiet area perfect for outdoor adventures and family fun. IN the summer time, there's a ton of great activities and class like hiking, camping, trout fishing and wildlife viewing. Near the campus, there's golf, a playground, hot air ballooning, horseback riding and a host of other activities. During the winter time, guests can go cross country skiing, snow boarding and sledding. The Ridge Rock Campground is located at Heron lake State Park, New mexico and is an excellent spot for a quiet getaway into the peaceful terrain of a southwestern watering hole. The lakeis a designated "quiet lake," meaning boat operators cannot get up to wake speeds. As such, enjoy canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake surface, and cross country skiing and ice fishing in the winter months. The lake is well-known for world-class fly fishing, so don't forget your rod if you'r hoping to snag some trout or salmon during your visit. The area around the park is well-known for wildlife viewing and hiking, so get ready to see some mule deer, black bear, elk and beautiful birds!

The West Lake RV Park is near the Eagle Nest Lake State Park, making it an ideal location for fishing-enthusiasts hoping to relax while they scour the lake for large game. Visitors can also look forward to water sports, boating, swimming or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere along the waterside. There's also a hiking trail that takes hikers within the gorgeous forestry of the state park.

Coyote Creek Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Just beside a meandering stream, campers can enjoy hours of fly fishing, as well as the sights and sounds of a flourishing waterside oasis that's enclosed by spruce and pine. Heron Lake is located in the Heron Late State Park in Los Ojos, new Mexico. Look forward to immaculate pines and fresh air around one of the areas most popular fishing lakes. Locals and visitors alike take advantage of stellar kokanee slamon and record-size trout, as well as a boating dock of early morning excursions. This lake is popular as well because it's designated as a "quiet lake," and boat operators cannot get up to wake speeds. This makes it perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing. Your can also enjoy wildlife viewing; keep your eyes open for deer, elk, mountain lions, osprey, bald eagles and black bears.

Soak in the amazing sights and smells of ponderosa pines that blankets the areas surrounding the water, and explore the park via the beautiful but challenging hiking trails. Visitors can also enjoy fishing and swimming at the pools near the campground, and it is bear country so keep your eyes open for black bears as you enjoy the natural terrain. The City of Red River is close by, so head over there for general sight seeing and to stock up on food, souvenirs and supplies. 

Nestled in the quiet village of Chama, along the Rio Chama (river) is the Sky Mountain Resort RV Park. Make sure to visit the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and the numerous trails and mountain ranges that make for excellent biking and hiking expeditions.
