The Coal Mine Campground is located on gently sloping hills in Grants, New Mexico, and is known for being set against amazing pinion, juuniper, gambel oak and mature ponderosa pine trees. The road gives visitors access to a quarter mile nature trail accessible by a historic bridge biult by the job corps. Campers often take advantage of the diverse landscape to go biking, horseback riding and wildlife watching, not to mention picnicking. This is the perfect place for a quiet vacation, and a complete immersion in to the best of the southwestern natural landscape. 

The Grants KOA is in the perfect location in northwestern, New Mexico for excellent outdoor activities and sight seeing. Campers can visit the New Mexico Mining Musem nearby, Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, El Morro National Monument and the Acoma Pueblo Tour and Sky City Casino. The Holbrook/Petrified Forest KOA is located in it's namesake, and is a great spot for exploring the many beautiful sights of Arizona, especially the monuments and the state's historical icons.
