Tanbark Campground is 120-acre campground located near Dickson, Tennessee. It features 38 paved, full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly for RVs of up to 60 feet. Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides free WiFi, allows pets, and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. The Colbert County Alloys Park Campground is located on Wilson Lake, and offers RV, motor home and camper parking, as well as tent sites for primitive camping. The campground also provides electricity, water, sewerage, dump station, and boat ramp for year round enjoyment. Newly added is a large, lit pavilion with picnic areas and tables, showers and restrooms. They allow mostly back-in parking with one pull-thru, have big rig access, 30/50 amp connections and WIFI. For fun, there’s a kid friendly playground nearby, boating on Red Bay, nature trails and the park is within walking distance of a Robert Trent Jones golf course. Nearby, you can visit Helen Keller’s birthplace or check out the Muscle Sholes Sound Studios, and for dinner, you can’t beat Smoking on the Blvd where they serve outstanding BBQ chicken and ribs. Sounds like a great place to stroll through and enjoy nature at its best.
