The Midtown RV Park is located just minutes from downtown Austin as well as the airport, and is conveniently positioned near the banks of Lake Travis. Since the park is so near the lake, visitors can take advantage of annual sailing regattas, ski boat competitions, sailing on different cruisers and of course some swimming and hanging out at the water's edge. There are also public parks near the lake, for those days when you get tired of the water, and want to go biking, hiking or exploring the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The Cranes Mill Park is located in the beautiful Canyon Lake and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to a number of excellent local attractions near the campground, spots frequented by locals and visitors alike. Such sites include: the beautiful Natural Bridge Caverns, the geological wonder of Canyon Lake Gorge and the Guadalupe River State Park which is popular for hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and river rafting. Lake LBJ House is located on Lake LBJ in the beautiful and historic town of Kingsland, Texas and is a great place to enjoy a fun, southern adventure. The Blanco State Park Campground is located in the beautiful town of Blanco, and is a great spot for an authentic Texas vacation. This small park hugs a one-mile stretch of the river. On the water, campers can swim, fish, paddle or boat, and on land, there's plenty of space to picnic, hike, camp, watch for wildlife, and geocache. For the group-travelers, there's a picnic pavilion for socials, group games and meals. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the Old Blanco County Court, Market Days held on the 3rd Saturday of each month and the Willow City Loop which is a breathtaking spot that's perfect for scenic drives, jogging, dog walking, picnicking and stargazing or sunset viewing. There's also golf courses, the Exotic Resort Zoo, Real Ale Brewing Company, Texas Hill Vineyard and the CN Stars Horse Training and Trail Rides. Several parks and lakes are close to the campground, so travelers can look forward to hiking, biking, boating, canoeing, kayaking or fishing among the Blanco and Perdenales State Parks, Comal River and Guadelupe River.
